Scott Flicker | 107 comments Discussion of the 12th book of the Wheel of time.

Scott Flicker | 107 comments Ok i have started on this book. I read it back it 2015 but it's been long enough to have forgotten many of the details.

message 3: by Mo (new) - rated it 4 stars

Mo (weneed_mobrown) I just got the audiobook today! Looking forward to getting into it.

Mo (weneed_mobrown) So, I'm about 70% done with the book now and I have a few questions maybe someone can answer. Did I miss somewhere in the book an explanation about how Thom just happens to know freaking everything?? He knew that Moiraine wasn't actually dead and that the Tower of Ghenjei exists so they can go find her.

I'm also a little confused as to who Slayer is... I get he's the merging of two people (Luc and Isam) but how did they merge? The Tar Valon Library website says it's in the prophecy but I don't really understand it.

I'm also really enjoying how everyone's story is starting to come together!

J.J. | 15 comments Moraine left a letter for Thom before I think Lanfear or one of the Chosen tried to kill Rand near the docks. Moraine went through the red frame doors that when you ask a question to the Aeflin about what's to come like the future of of their life. It was until Matt asked about the letter that Thom so often read is when Matt found out that Moraine is still alive in the Tower. That's when Thim, Noal, and Matt went to the tower to save her.

Thim was the queens bard in the past and near how to play the game of houses. . That's how he knows eveverything

J.J. | 15 comments Luc and Slayer are the same persons. Luc in real life and then he's Slayer in the Wolf Dreamworld, I forget the other worlds name. It's been a long time since I've read this series. I think book 2 or 3 is when the letter that moraine wrote for Thom that she's still alive.

Scott Flicker | 107 comments Yeah back in book 4 or 5 right (pretty sure 5) before Morianne and Lanfear had a fight out in the waste were they both apparently died off screen after going through a doorway portal that was later destroyed. Morianne knew this was going to happen so she wrote letters to Rand and Tom. Robert Jordan must wrote those pages around 1993 or so. I'm glad so Brandon Sanderson was able to continue this storyline 15 years later and after Jordan's death.
