Of Fire and Stars by Audrey Coulthurst, is the story of a a Princess named Dennaleia. Dennaleia was set to marry from her youth a Prince from the land Mynaria. In the story Dennaleia has magic powers with fire and in the Kingdom that she will soon marry into to the Prince of Mynaria magic is not allowed. Dennaleia knew what her destiny was to protect her kingdom from any future harm, but what about Dennaleia? Dennaleia is committed to protecting her Kingdom but what about her feelings and finding her true love? As Dennaleia prepares to be married she encounters her future husbands sister Princess Amaranthine. Dennaleia and Princess Amaranthine soon discover feelings that they have for each other. How will they discover their feelings? Will Dennaleia and Princess Amaranthine build their relationship and what will become of her arranged marriage? In a turn of events, a situation brings Dennaleia and Princess Amaranthine closer together to solve the unexpected event. Both Dennaleia and Princess Amaranthine discover more about themselves and each other. The book is the first in a series and I enjoyed reading the story. The story was interesting and each event built curiosity further into the story to find out what will happen next. The language that the story was written in reminds me of the Renaissance or Medieval time period. The story was written in fantasy with magic, mystery and an uncommon relationship. I would like to read the next book in the series.
