A spinoff of the Charlie Bone series. Suitable for Intermediate. I have to admit that I skimmed most of the book. And the grand climax only filled up four pages! Not her best book, as it felt rushed. Themes of family, loyalty, perseverance, taking responsibility. And , of course, magic.
