What were your initial thoughts on poison study? What did you think of the characters/writing/plot-line/originality? Please no spoilers on this thread.

I love this book so much!! Really a great start to a good series.

It has been years since I read Poison Study and yet the characters are still well known to me. My daughter loves the series as well and is extremely excited there is a new book coming out soon.~ Kim

It had me hooked from the beginning. The book has been on my shelves for a few years so I welcomed the push from this group to read it now - and not to put it off again.

The story is enjoyable and has just enough mystery to keep you going without being repetitive about the conflicts in Yelena's life. It also raises questions about the desirability value of personal freedom versus personal safety.
