Vivi Cardenas | 3 comments My book was The Cellar by Natasha Preston and I really enjoyed it. It was very catchy and left me wanting to read it more and more to find out what would happen next. However, it was very suspenseful and had a lot of moments that left you thinking “why would the author put this in here?” I really did like how we were able to read the book in three different point of views. Because the book is based on a 16-year-old girl who gets kidnapped and we are able to know the story from her, her boyfriend and the kidnapper. Not many books are like that and I really loved that Natasha Preston did that with this book. It made it even that more enjoyable to know exactly what the three main characters were thinking, feeling, saying, etc. For those who like to read intense and mysterious books, they should definitely read this. I did though feel that it had some lessons in this book that really stood out. Like don’t take anything for granted, if you’re a girl obviously don’t be alone at a park at night, and other things as well. I was able to cull out the important people in this book and what their roles were in this story also. Not many books that are suspenseful like this are easy to read, but this book was great. I really hope they make it into a movie because it would be a great hit! I know a lot of people that would enjoy this book, let alone movie if they ever did think of making it into one. But overall, it was a great read and I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves a good read.
