Deep within the village, there is a haunted cottage...

Felix entered the cottage tired and drained, carrying a wild boar. he'd been out hunting for hours without any luck until he found that boar. It had been quite a few hours since he arrived at the cottage, he had placed her on the bed and covered her with a blanket, then he made a quick soup and slipped it into her mouth to sustain her until he could find proper food.

He was glad that the fire he has started was still burning bright. He placed the boar on a table and started preparing it for cooking.

Alyssa shifted slightly and opened her eyes when she realized she was in a bed. She shot up, "Where the hell am I?" Her eyes were wide and she had a tiny bit of colour on her face from the soup Felix had gotten her.

Felix was deep in thought as he was preparing the boar for cooking he didn't notice the movement and voice behind him. he was lost in his oen thoughts.

"Felix?" she whispered when she saw him, relaxing a little.

Felix flinched as he came back to reality when he heard her voice. "Welcome back to the land of the living" he said. still working on the boar with his back to her.

"What happened?"

"You went all emotional on me.
I wasn't in the mood so I knocked you out." Felix could feel a small smile escape his lips.

"Good to know," Alyssa nodded.

"You look like you could use a meaty dinner." Felix carried the boar and placed it on the fire.
Then he looked over at Alyssa's face and giggled. He took a small wet cloth and went to stand infront of her. he rubbed her face "For god's sake. Can't you eat some soup without making your face a mess?"

"Soup?" Her lips quirked up at the corners.

Felix wanted to know how good her lie-detecting skills are. "You don't remember? we ate soup togather by the fire earlier."

She laughed, "yeh, Just like you bashed my head in because I was getting emotional."

Felix smiled. "how are you feeling?"

"Tired and like someone's pounding on my head with a those huge jack hammers on Tom and Jerry."

"Yeah, my smacks have lasting effects." He turned around and went back to the boar.

"I know you didn't knock me out," She shook her head and sat next to him. "You told me to forgive you before I blacked out." she closed her eyes, "You don't even know why I passed out."

" I figured werewolves have a thing for passing out when people are trying to apologize to them."

She rolled her eyes, "No. They don't"

"Care to enlighten me why you passed out then?"

"No," She said quietly, "Just know that hurting yourself can sometimes be worse than hurting others." She got up.

"Suit yourself" He muttered as he poked the boar.

"I'm going to go," She was still really tired but he suddenly turned into a D**k so she was going to leave. She got her jacket from her bed and put it on.

"I spent hours in the woods until I was able to hunt you this boar. It's almost done." His voice was a bit sad. he knew that he was making things hard for her but she never made anything easy.

She swallowed because she didn't know what to do, she didn't want to eat. She sighed and sat back next to him, feeling bad about making him do this for her when she hated eating. "I'm sorry."

"It's fine." Felix grabbed a knife and started cutting pieces away from the boar. "maybe you should a while, at least until morning. you still look tried." Felix put the meat in a bowl and gave it to Alyssa. "And I still need your forgiveness."

"I forgive you," she sighed as she took the bowl.

"Is that coming from your heart?"

'Yes, of course," she said, looking up at him.

Felix started eating a piece of meat "Where will you go?."

"What do you mean?"

"You were about to leave. just wondering where will you go."

"I don't know, I would've went to my place I guess," she shrugged.

Felix nodded as he continued to eat silently.

"Is this where you live?" she asked quietly.

"No, I found this place a while ago. No one seems to ever come here so I stay here for a few hours from time to time. helps me... think more clearly. it's a nice cottage."

Alyssa nodded, "it is." She looked up at him.

Felix was using the last of his stamina, he couldn't even remember when was the last time he slept. And his shoulder wasn't making things any better. He just stared into the fire, his mind barely functioning.

Alyssa sighed, "come on." She pulled him up and to the bed.

"I'm fine. How was the boar meat?" As he pulled him self away from her grip.

"It was good," she shrugged, "Come on, you need some rest."

"He nodded and walked with her."

She let him lay down but she didn't know what to do herself.. and she didn't want to leave so she just started walking back to her place.

((so Alyssa left the cottage?))

Felix was instantly asleep as he lay down on the bed.

((No, she just walked back to where she was sitting.))

Alyssa sat down and ate some more meat.

A couple of hours later. Felix started shaking and twisting as he slept, apparently having a nightmare.

Alyssa got up and stared out the window.
