I thought he acted suspiciously when he was introduced into the story. He didn't like that Frank was investigating Clarence's death and didn't want him talking to Harvey.I really didn't think much about him after that until he brought flowers to Theda after her brother's death. Why on earth would he think it was appropriate to give a married woman flowers? That made me (and Sarah) very suspicious.
He was always on my radar but he lacked a motive in my mind until his obsession with Theda was revealed. Then I was convinced he’d killed Harvey and needed more info to peg him with Clarence’s murder.
