Do you think Jack and Jocelyn have a chance at making it?

Realistically the odds would be a hundred to one against:) But this is fiction! I bet they succeed and become useful friends for Frank and Sarah when they are involved in a case.

I’m giving them better odds given that choices for women in this era were meager. She gets to keep her child and live in the manner accustomed (and stick it to her parents). He gets a boost in respectability and someone he seems to like.

But then, I’m a romantic😏

I'm a romantic too, Jonetta. I see this possibly working in the long run. They might not fall in love, but I think the situation could work well for both of them. This was Jocelyn's best choice.

I think I mentioned something in a previous question about whether this couple will appear in future books in our series. If so, I'd really wonder how our author will portray them. I also kept wondering who the baby's father was. Will he ever be identified or just drop out of the picture?

Charlene, I wouldn’t be surprised if the baby’s biological father shows up and becomes part of a future story.
