The question is simple; do you enjoy stand alone books or series better?

& Why?

I like both but prefer to read a series from the beginning.

Why? Just makes the most sense to me, though there are some series books that can function well as stand alones. One example is FARMER BOY by Laura Ingalls Wilder: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8...
