Robert Evert I was wondering how many of you have published fantasy. Is there a list of people and their books somewhere here?

Kurt (kurtbrugel) | 5 comments Hello Robert,

I'm doing second printings of all of Gardner F Fox's classic paperbacks. He wrote a lot of sci-fi and fantasy. He also created two sword and sorcery characters: Kothar and Kyrik. Here's a link to those titles https://www.gardnerfrancisfoxlibrary....

I'm an illustrator by trade and I'm currently working on providing each of his second printings with a scratchboard cover illustration.

Are you going to be publishing your work or are you looking for new writers to follow?

Kurt

I have a couple of fantasy series out, including Sword of Betrayal. I just wanted to see what other people have done so I can get their books.

Apropos of this site, I've written (as "T.C. Rypel") the heroic-fantasy GONJI series, which began in the 1980s as paperback originals from Zebra Books and is currently in paper and Kindle re-issue from Wildside Press. There are presently six extant books.

OK, in response to the request below for links to some of our work, I'm appending the link for DARK VENTURES, the most recent book in my GONJI series but the best place for new readers to give the series a try. It's a mix of novellas and non-fiction, functioning as sort of a..."GONJI Reader" gateway:

Martin Owton | 35 comments I have an adventure fantasy duology out which should appeal to old-school S&S fans. Exile Nandor

Jason Waltz (worddancer) | 385 comments good topic, but there is a dedicated discussion category for authors, books, and series that should hold much of this. but while I'm here...

I have one 2-story Kindle .99 cent short of my guy, Direk. There's supposed to be more of them, someday. Vengeance is My Lord's: Tales of Direk, Lord of Vengeance

S.wagenaar | 418 comments I have written three short stories concerning the adventures of my S&S hero Gunnolf. Two published so far, hopefully more to come.

Gregory Mele | 23 comments I've written a lot of non-fiction on the martial arts of medieval and Renaissance Europe (see: www.freelanceacademypress.com), but for fiction, only short stories -- several about 15 years ago. More recently, I've been using the medium to develop a Bronze Age, Myceneaens--meets--Meso-America setting, with two stories this year in Heroic Fantasy Quarterly: https://www.heroicfantasyquarterly.co... and
http://www.heroicfantasyquarterly.com... , another forthcoming in a Rogue Blades anthology and two more close (I think!) to being sold. There's a finished novel too, but I have yet to find an agent.

So modest contributions, but a few.

Richard | 817 comments It would be awesome if everyone could include links like Kurt Brugel, Martin Owton, and Robert Evert did. That way, those interested could run down those titles with ease. Unless that is frowned upon in this group, which I don't think it is.

Gregory Mele | 23 comments OK, I went back and amended my post with links. My nonfiction is also in my profile here.

Martin Owton | 35 comments 17 authors of epic fantasy and S&S, and one space opera have their books on a promotion of 99c/99p for this week. more details here: http://mlspencerfiction.com/grimtober...

A.R. | 78 comments Just saw this.

I have eight books out. Two are collections:

"The Ultimate Collection" contains all of my currently published work as of 12/2/19. It's the most expensive of the books, but the price matches all the other work relatively closely.

"Sword and Sorcery Sampler" contains three novelettes (which are also in the "Ultimate Collection").

Other than that they can be purchased separately.

Here's a link to my work:

I haven't, but i intend to. I am working on a series of Novellas about a relic brotherhood of knights struggling to survive. I will be looking to give it away after publishing, in exchange for honest reviews. I'm new and just feeling my way around the site.
I am willing to do the same for others, so long as its Sword and Sorcery.....
