Scarlett had worked up an appetite from her endless seeming math homework. She had algebra drilled into her head and it wouldn't go away. She knew there was usually a pile of sweets on a platter in the corner of the room on a mantel, and that was her specific destination. Today there lay a few dark, milk, and white chocolates. She grabbed one white chocolate and tossed it into her mouth. Her gown moved with her legs beautifully as she walked.

"Oh, snap, what on earth is-" Scarlett was cut short as a blur of persona and wheelchair headed straight for her. On a normal occasion, if she had been talking to a normal non-disabled person, she would have gave them a piece of their mind. But she'd always have a soft spot for disabled people. And she knew of only one disabled person that would have had access to the extra desserts platter. "Marius!"
"Oh, I'm fine I suppose, just a bit.." She thought for a moment, "..tired, busy, slightly annoyed." She popped a single dark chocolate from the tray and popped it into her mouth, her nose crinkling up slightly at the bitterness. She had thought it would be a milder dark; clearly not.
"I can only answer to why I'm tired." Scarlett paused, "I woke up this morning far too early to the sound of a hundred crows cawing at my window. And as you may or may not know, once I wake up I can never fall back asleep again. Now, how are you?"
"Dandy?" Scarlett sputtered. She hadn't realized people still said that anymore, and she had to bite back the urge to snap something back that was rather rude. "Why weren't you at any of the meals today?"
"Exactly. Totally. You're not at all lying." She said, noting the way Marius rushed through his words so quickly as he always did whenever he lied. "Seriously though, what were you doing?"
"Why do you like map-making so much? Honestly, do you truly never get bored of doing whatever cartographers do?" Drawing lines and triangles on pieces of paper were not at all appealing to Scarlett, although she too had to take that lesson.
"That makes sense, actually." Scarlett admitted softly. She had always wanted to get out of Krãsa, to be able to explore the world without living under any stupid princess rules. "There must have been a world full of waterfalls and mountains waiting to be discovered. Islands in the middle of no where, where you were free to travel to whenever."
Maybe. Maybe was such a powerful word, Scarlett thought. Maybe the next time she snuck out she would be caught. Maybe the next gown she had to wear wouldn't be frilly and princessy. Maybe the Queen would one day be in her right mind. "Maybe."
"Take a guess." Scarlett said with a grumble. There was no way she was ever getting married to any of the pimple faced idiots her parents had suggested. "I may as well run away before I have to endure any of that." And it was true, she would indeed run away, and she was having a map of Krãsa made anyways by an official cartographer, so that if she ever needed to, she would know the country inside out.
"I suppose I will, even if that means our first conversation when we get back won't be a very peaceful one. And besides, what could possibly happen to a princess in a big city?" Lots could happen, lots and lots and lots. And Scarlett knew that but didn't care for it.
"If I got kidnapped I would escape. I wouldn't get struck by lightning if I wasn't near any trees, and I'll just make sure no one sees any valuables of mine. It's very simple." Scarlett said. "Anyways, I don't care if you go on or not because for each scenario you come up with, I'll only come up with a solution."
Scarlett smiled triumphantly, she was always right about everything in her eyes. "And what about you? Any fiancées yet?" She knew that her parents had been pushing for one for a while now, but it was difficult considering his, erm, disability issues.
((What are his views on Spencer?))
((Kay))
"No one can be Spencer." Scarlett said, a smirk still evident on her face. She looked at the time on the grandfather clock, she was dying to go outside and do something other than talk, but it was stormy and she had been counting the minutes until the storm ended- not that she hadn't been outside in a lightning storm before.
Scarlett stood up suddenly. "I'm going outside- would you like to come with me?" She got these sudden feelings sometimes that urged her out of the room she was in or what she was doing. But today it was more than that in this case, she saw past that storm there would be sunshine and rainbows and she had soon too many sunshine and rainbows.
((I had pneumonia multiple times, so it's fine, I totally get it- I hated those tiredness spikes >.<))
"Great!" Scarlett said, moving her arm that she had laid on the extra desserts table that was now asleep so that it was by her side. "Meet ya out there!" She called, hurrying to her room to change into a casual outfit and light jacket.
((XD Sure, could you please post first?))
