Her father had promised her that he would be at her Christmas recital and yet he didn't show up. She let out a frustrated groan as she slammed the door. She sat down on the floor and pulled her knees up to her chest. She sat there for what seemed like forever, but was only twenty minutes before her dance teacher walked in.
"Dani, sweetie, what's wrong?" She asked wiping the tears off her cheeks
"He promised that he would come. He never breaks a promise!" She whispered, then looking up she asked, "Did something happen?"
Miss. Granger took her hands in hers, "There was a bad accident on the highway. Both cars caught fire and none of the passengers have been identified yet." She took a small shakey breath, "But one of them fit the description of your father's. Dani, I'm really sorry honey, but you father had a one of a kind car, it's impossible for anyone else to have one like it."
She didn't say anything. She only sat there paralysed at the news. It took a few moments, but silent tears started to fall and make a small puddle on the floor. Miss. Granger sat beside her and rubbed her back repeating, "It's going to be okay." Until Dani's tears turned into hiccups.
"Sweetheart, I think it's best if you come home with me for the night."

Activity On Goodreads: I'm not going to exaggerate and say 24/7, but quite a bit, maybe for a few hours a day.
Why You Want To Be A Mod: This group has brought a new interest to me in terms of Royalty RP's. I never really understood them as they were almost always the same thing, same idea, same types of characters, but this group is so in depth and so detailed with such great RPers I just love it. You are also awesome, and I would love to partner with you to Mod in this group. I also have a few ideas for this group that could make it more fun- not that it isn't fun already, of course! In closing, I would like to say that I don't want to see this group die as it is very promising, and that I'll do a mass invite for it soon whether I'm chosen or not.
Past Experience: Currently a mod in around 15-17 groups, I believe.

1) Leah was skiing on a black diamond mountain, it was her sweet sixteen party, and she had invited all of her many, many friends. Her last sight was the small pine tree she hadn't seen before. She had thought it was one of the rocks that just so happened to be there. She suddenly screamed, midair, as her ski caught on one of the branches and she was vaulted forwards, her ski helmet loosening, and her head bashing against a pile of rocks off to the side of the route. Her vision was almost suddenly completed spotted with black dots, then, one, two, three! Everything went black and again, one, two, three! And she saw a light at the end of her blackness, and suddenly, she was standing in the middle of a group of crying friends.
"I'm right here!" She exclaimed, wondering what all of the tears were about. But her friends ignored her. She looked down then, and screamed. Her own body was beneath her. Unconscious body, that is.
"No, no, no.." She whispered, she felt tears drip down her face, for beneath her body was a spreading pool of blood. She saw a ski authority there, rushing down with the medics.
"That's not needed, not needed!" She cried out, trying to stop them. More tears dripped down her face. She didn't know what was happening, truly, she may as well drown in her own tears and die all over again.

2) "I'm out here all alone, a barren world before me. Perhaps I could ruffle the queen's anger out here? Oh what fun that would be, I wonder how large the bounty on my head is now?" She pondered aloud, though her question received no answer, that was the trouble of being alone, there was no one to judge her and her insanely evil personality. "Oh my Astrid look at what has befallen you now." The woman then murmured as she gazed ahead of her.

{Activity On Goodreads} I'm not on 24/7 (stupid school ._.) but I am on for a few hours every day, and a little bit more on the weekends than during the week.

{Why You Want To Be A Mod} I would like to be a mod because I love the idea of this group. I've never been in a royalty group such as this one before, but a few are similar. I have lots of ideas that I think could help this group become even more fun and exciting than it already is! I have already invited many of my friends. As I said above, I am on for a few hours every day after school, and even more on the weekends. I could help with the group, answering questions, making threads, etc. while you're gone and I'm on, which I've learned is very important to have with groups, especially newer ones. I would love for you to choose me to be a part of this group!

{Past Experience}I have been a mod in around 15-20 groups all together, but I have had to leave a few, so now I am a mod in somewhere around 13-15

Avalon heard an alarm clock sound. Ugh, it can't be morning already. She lay in bed, listening to the sound of her younger sister breathing evenly across the room. Five minutes passed. Then ten. After fifteen minutes, she heard the sound of her mother's footsteps walking up the grand stairs. Avalon jumped out of bed, knowing that if she were still in bed when her mother came in, there would be trouble. Lots of trouble. She raced around the room, grabbing a towel and makeup before running into her private bathroom.

As Avalon stepped into the bathroom, she relaxed. She was on time, and no one would get hurt. She turned the water on to warm and quietly stood there, shivering in the cold morning air as she waited for the shower water to heat up. As soon as it did, she stepped in and smiled. Avalon let the burning hot water run over her skin for a minute, just standing there. She then remembered she had to leave for school soon, and washed her incredibly thick hair as fast as she could. Once it was done, Avalon stepped out of the shower and wrapped her hair tightly in a towel and began to apply her makeup. The same order she always went in, every morning. She put on mascara, blush, eyeliner, lip gloss, powder, foundation, everything you could think of (not in that order). About 15 minutes later, she looked like a pale china doll. The face in the mirror smiled back at her, and Avalon took the towel off her hair, blow drying it quickly before letting it fall beautifully into place.

As she came back into her room, Avalon dressed quickly in a black mimi-skirt and a gray cap-sleeved shirt. Adding to the look, she placed two beaded necklaces around her neck and matching bracelets and earrings. She nudged her sister awake, as in blared her alarm right next to her ear for a minute, and then raced downstairs. Seeing breakfast on the table, she thanked her mother and quickly ate up an apple and some eggs and toast. "Thank you, Mom! Love you, bye!" Avalon kissed her mother's cheek before grabbing her schoolbag and lunch, then heading out to the bus to begin another boring day in that 6-hour prison filled with no cute boys.

[Activity On Goodreads] I am on every day, no exceptions. I have access to a laptop and an iPod daily. Due to school (ugh), I can't be on all the time, but definitely besides from school I will be online!
[Why You Want To Be A Mod] There are several reasons why I would like to be a mod in this group. REASON NUMBER 1- I am on very often, I said previously. Whenever you, the head mod, is not on, I will be eager to answer questions and concerns from members and create topics. REASON NUMBER TWO-I'm very tech savvy. I work well with computer formatting and coding, and I'm still learning more about it. I can assist with any technology tutoring XD. REASON NUMBER THREE-I'm a neat freak. AT least when it comes to groups. My room is a mess. Anywayyyyysssss I find it entertaining, almost, to create and organize topics into folders. Archer stared at his questions in a daze when he heard a loud child-like voice through the cafe. Looking up, he saw a five year old girl accompanying one of the employees at the cafe. He could hear her begging to work around the cafe to which he smiled at. Most children just wanted to play so to hear one ask to work wasn't the most common thing. Archer watched them go around collecting dirty plates, and used tissues. After a couple of moments the child began arguing that she wanted to carry the tray. He watched the debate between the two and suppressed a grin. Shaking his head, Archer turned back to his homework.

Sighing Archer was about to pack it up and leave when he felt a human fall over his outstretched leg. And crash. He heard the sounds of tears, and coffee spilling. His first instinct was to check himself - to make sure he didn't get bruised or dirty. Nope, he was clean. Archer than proceeded to turn around to see a young blonde female comforting a younger sobbing girl. He could see the coffee slowly making its way all over the floor itself and causing a bigger mess than there needed to be. He sighed and glanced back at his papers. He really needed to finish, but than again the cries of a five-year old screaming would probably be distracting. Besides which the teenage girl comforting her wasn't an eyesore.

Archer got off from his chair and kneeled down to the young girl. Tears were dripping from her face, and she was completely covered in snot. Her blouse was sticky and covered with the aroma of coffee. "Hey, hey. Little girl." he started saying. "Why are you crying? Now that you're all sticky you can be a superhero! Sticky Girl. Always there to help stick things...together?" Archer began saying wondering what they even meant. Sticky Girl. What the hell was that? That was stupid even for his idiotic self.

He turned towards the older female with a 'I'm sorry that was really stupid' look. And only than did he get the chance to properly see her. Her blonde hair had fallen down, and her blue eyes were filled with concern for the girl. She was wearing a simple outfit - sweater, jeans, and a beanie. And the girl had a more natural look to her. Unlike most girls, she had simple make-up looks towards her rather than fifty pounds of blush and eye shadow. But she wasn't unattractive or anything. After a couple of seconds he realized that he was staring at the girl and turned his head back to the five year old.

Why I want to be a mod: Because I'm really excited for this group, and I've got amazing ideas for my characters, and for plot, and really for everything. And plus I get really crazy neat freak on GR, and it drives me nuts when things aren't organized.

Genevieve was lost. She'd never admit it of course, but that was most certainly was she was. Completely and utterly lost in this blasted camp with the hundreds of structures all bunched together with no sensical reason to their placement. She'd been trying to find her cabin (much as she hated going there, she did have to at times), but instead had found herself at a garish place that she assumed was a cabin, but was perfectly ghastly. Blood and... Eugh. She shuddered at the sight of it. Dreadful, truly.
She was wearing pants. Unfortunate as it were, they were more convenient than three layers of skirts (not that she'd been able to find any proper attire here), and well, they were comfortable, though she sill despised the thought of them, and they displayed much more than was ladylike in her opinion. She wore a simple Camp Half-Blood t-shirt, and her had was elegantly curled (of course se wasn't going to stop caring for her hair just because she was wearing jeans), and she just wore simple flags because it was impossible to move around in heels on all these dirt paths, and boots simply made her far too uncomfortable.

I decided to make it three.

{Writing Example} I love to write so... Here is it!
(view spoiler)[The cold. That's all I could think when I stepped out into the gloomy night. The coldness piercing my skin like frozen ice falling from the ground and prancing against my skin. To be completely honest I never expected it to become this cold throughout the years. I never believed in the stories I used to be told. About how when the moon crossed over the sun for more then two hours that it would stay. I didn't believe. I thought I'd be dead when it happened if it was real. But I was wrong. Completely wrong. I remember two years ago sitting outside playing with my daughters when the moon reached high in the sky. The temperature dropped so drastically that it froze basically everything. Almost killed my little girls. Over that time of two hours I burned about 500 logs of wood.

I still remember the cries of my little girls. Their plead for warmth as I unsuccessfully tried to warm them. Little did I know at that time that I would be living in a world of coldness today. My pleading hands ran along my daughters arms that day. Rubbing against the goose bumped arms of my little ones. Needing them to warm up. Needing them to survive. But since I tried they still live today, in the cold world. Several died the day the sun disappeared. So many. The ground was frozen so some people would burn the people. The smell was horrible. The air... Extremely nasty. It smelt for half the year. I sometimes questioned myself to who had been keeping count of the days. I did because my daughters had hope that life would continue as usual. Birthdays, holidays, and small religious celebrations. I could not bring it to myself to tell them otherwise. In a way they are most likely the reason I am still alive today.

Now as I stand here on the porch of my house I gaze up into the moon. I wonder if the sun will ever return, if my husband some how is still out there alive. He never returned to us. I know deep down that he won't. But hope is a large thing that can carry us further into the world, into living.
