So! Your thoughts, preferences, and interests? (Regarding this potential roleplay.)

Quick question regarding this, have you played Skyrim? I can come up with some ideas based on that! And Fallout too for the sci-fi aspect

I have not. I'm familiar with the concept though. I can come up with plenty of worlds and whatnot if there's not something specific you're wanting to do (I love doing that actually) but first I want to see if there is the interest.

I am of course interested. Otherwise, nope, nothing specific. Well, yet.

Thoughts regarding the Group: (view spoiler)[

The world or the setting should be detailed, with a picture, and there should be a folder regarding everything about the setting, plot and anything related to that (Citizens, History/Plot) so to not mix the history and details part with the character creation. Character creation obviously has the usual specie list and what not. Pretty sure you already know what that is.

But...If you're going to make a group. Please make it strictly advanced. Like, keep out the non-advanced roleplayers. Not that I hate them or anything, but rp'ing gets so boring when all their reply consists of two to four lines. (and annoying too.)
And there should be a minimum amount of characters that a person can use. Only those who can handle it and can play many should be allowed. Proof that they can must be needed. It's kinda tiring to see people create and create dozens of characters when they don't even use any.

And... It's okay if there's only few members. Delete all those who join and post characters but don't rp anyway! (lol just kidding)

I think you should have a specific kind of people allowed there. Having many specie is alright too. Or a create-your-own-original-blahblahblah. (Not really picky, so anything's fine as long as everyone's happy and the characters aren't monotone)

There should be roles too, since going along with no direction is either extremely fun or extremely boring/lifeless. The roles (Villains, heroes, healers, kings, queens whatever) should be distributed to people who has proof that they are online most of the time and can rp in long periods of time or reply in a detailed fashion. I've had experiences with major-roled-rp'ers neglecting their roles so yeah...

And must stay on character.

Some mods rarely uses the messaging power they have, but if you do create a group then make use of it. I love rp'ing and I hate it when awesome groups are made, sparks for a week, and then dies out because no one posts anymore.

Major event too after a week (or two or three) of the group being made and characters being approved...because everyone loves that. There, everyone can meet up. And plots. Plotsssss

I think I also want to make a super-advanced Hogwarts roleplay... Except I need at least five (...? Ideally ten or fifteen.) active members to make it really work. :(

No worries! And plots could totally be a thing. I'd want to do something that was perhaps excessively detailed... Imma make a new topic to put out feelers for whether or not there is enough interest.

I'd join too, probably. Hahaha. As long as the other future members are good enough I'd do join. :)

Yeah It's the staying alive part that's hard. Some people just join, post characters, go online for a few days and then goes AWOL

Not specifically at the moment. I have some pretty general conflict ideas but it depends on the setting people are interested and what way people want to go.

Science Fiction?
Mutations. Experiments. Different Races. Freak abominations?

Although, I think both are fine. Most groups that have been created have lesser scifi themes though.

And just so you know... this is not my usual online time. lol.

I just want to say, that I prefer seeing the characters in construction and the list of completed characters under the same folder so that I can see the whole picture of what roles have been taken, what races/species are done already, etc. Of course that is up to the mod, but I think it makes things a little bit easier.

I'm thinking that whatever this ends up being, I want each character to have their own topic. The first post would be the profile—something basic and not too detailed, but below it, before roleplaying, some backstory roleplayed out, mostly for the sake of the roleplayer getting to know their character. (And if they decide they don't like them, they can stop using them before they get involved in the roleplay.)

Hmm... That's an interesting concept, except, would that mean that you would only be roleplaying by yourself if your backstory wasn't connected to another rper's character? I know what it's like to see a character come to life because of being rp'd and I think that would help to decide whether that character should be tweaked or scratched off.

Hm... I see your point. I think it would be worth discussing this further if/when this becomes pertinent.
