Adelaide stepped outside towards the gardens, her favorite place to be on the entire property-for more than one reason. Yes, the gardens are incredibly beautiful, but there's always someone there who catches her eye more than the gorgeous flowers. It's someone who takes care of them, instead, Andrew Gardner. She's been in love with him who knows how long, though she's never told anyone. He obviously doesn't like her, anyway, so why bother? It also helps that she's a princess, he's a gardener, and she's supposed to get married to some snobby prince soon. Ugh. Adelaide sighed as she continued walking, stopping as she sat down on a bench near the middle of the gardens, draping her light blue dress over the side delicately. She had decided on this dress very easily, she was always told that it complimented her blonde hair and big blue eyes. Not that she was trying to dress up or anything, no way. Adelaide turned slightly on the bench, looking around to see if he was there.
Adelaide smiled when she saw him, standing up. She walked over and stood behind him. She watched him as he dug up the roots before speaking. "Hello, Andrew," she said with a smile on her face. It wasn't like she could help it, there was always a huge smile on her face when she talked to, or even thought of, him.
Her smiled lessened a bit. "It's not princess. My name is Adelaide, you know that." Adelaide sat down next to the flower bed, looking at all of the plants. She didn't care one bit that her dress was getting dirty, though any of her other sisters would have a fit if they were in her place.
Adelaide rolled her eyes, a smile forming on her face again. "Can I help?" She had only gardened a few times before, but she thought it was actually fun. Well, most of the time. It's fun until you find a huge worm crawling on your leg, then its kind of gross.
"I could too do it." Adelaide looked over at him stubbornly, as if daring him to say she couldn't. Maybe she could, maybe she couldn't, who knows. But she could try, and was definitely going to.
Adelaide took the bag from him, setting it down by the grass, Well, okay then, I will. Adelaide took the fertilizer and started, and thought she was doing pretty well. Finally when she was done, she sat down next to him. "How'd I do?"((gtg, bye!))
((XD That's okay))Adelaide grinned, quite proud of herself. She watched as he fixed the grass to perfection. Adelaide smiled to herself, amazed at how talented he was at something that could seem so easy, but be so complicated when you actually tried it. She had never know gardening could be so…perfect in itself.
((Sorry to interrupt, but ❄ sʜᴀʜᴅɪᴀ ❄ ᶫᵃᵈʸ ᵒᶠ ʷᶦᶰᵗᵉʳᶠᵉᶫᶫ ❄, where do we post the lady-in-waitings? Thanks!))
Oili smiled as she sat down on a small bench within the large garden. She closed her eyes as the sun glowed and pounced upon her light skin. She ran one hand along her forehead wiping off the sweat. Mistress wanted a flower and she couldn't find. She even had the gardeners looking! With a small sigh she opened her eyes once more and looked at the dropping sun. What an ordinary day. She sighed and bit her lip Spencer suddenly popping up into her head and she laughed shaking her head. It had been a couple days since she saw him last.
Spencer wandered around the castle once again bored. He tried to go back out into the village but the people there didn't seem to be too excited and lively as they normally were. Perhaps it was because of the heat that made people a bit lazy today. So he returned back to the castle and tried talking to some guards who were just...distant. So now his final option was back to wandering around like a lost puppy. After a couple moments of walking, Spencer headed towards a bench and saw that the girl was there. The ladies maid girl who he'd been talking to and wasn't afraid to say what she wanted. He reached her bench and looked down at her face casting a shadow over her. "Well. If it isn't brownie."
The sun seemed to disappear. Oili's eyebrows drew together and she slowly opened her eyes and her brown eyes focused on spencer? Yes. That was his name. She sighed and rolled her eyes. "Oili." She murmured and then straightened up. Hopefully he'd get the hint to stop calling her brownie. With a small movement she tilted her head up again and looked up at him with a hint of curiosity.
Spencer sat down next to her and paused. "Miss me? I know you did." he grinned nudging her. Than he heard her mention a name and asked "Oili? Thats your name?" he asked her sitting down. Oili...hm. How he could he turn that into a cute nickname? He'd have to sleep on it. "So. Its been a while. What games have you been to lately?" he asked her his eyes twinkling.
Oili laughed and rolled her eyes. "I couldn't possibly miss you. I mean, if someone liked your appearance or your arrogance.. Maybe," she teased with a laugh. As he sat down she slightly scooted away. Her head shot up and she narrowed her eyes at him. "Unlike you sir I do work. I can't go around playing with people's hearts." She muttered and looked away again.
Adelaide smiled at that. "I'm not sure. I like it here. It's beautiful and…well, I don't really know. I just love coming here. Why do you love gardening so much?"
"Wow. That's impressive. But do you really like gardening? It seems to me that you do." Adelaide watched him, wondering what the answer was. He was always out here, caring for the plants so delicately. It seemed that he loved all of it, though that may not be true.
"Oh." Adelaide nodded. Honestly, she didn't get why people had to pass down their jobs to their children. She believed that everyone should be able to choose their jobs, especially if they don't like it or aren't that good at that particular profession. And what if the profession was something terrible that have them barely any money at all? What would the children do then? Adelaide sighed slightly, wishing that instead of being married off to some other royal family, she wished she could become queen here instead of the crown going to Spencer, four years younger than her, so that she could help her kingdom. Spencer wouldn't do much. He was much too self absorbed to account to anything as important as ruling a kingdom.
"Wouldn't you…no, nevermind. That's not possible." Adelaide thought of something, quickly dismissing the idea. She searched her mind for a better topic to discuss, because she obviously couldn't help with this, which was killing her.
"It's stupid! I mean, a princess not knowing this at first? Worst princess ever," Adelaide said with a laugh.
FlowerPower"So...in other words you did miss me." Spencer decided. "Everyone does sweetheart." he added in. At her last comment he rolled his eyes. "So what? You think I never do anything productive? That is highly offensive you know that?" he asked her. Spencer stared at her intently waiting for a response. So fine. Maybe he could do more around the house. But still, he was young. He still deserved to have some fun while he had the chance. At least before his parents forced him to settle down and marry some urchin no one cared about.
Oili frowned and narrowed her eyes at his intense stare. "Deserve? I'm only sixteen and have worked so much..." She trailed off and shook her head. "It does not matter. You wouldn't care anyway. Well whatever makes you happy sir." She muttered holding her chin high. Then she went back into her maid role. She stood and faced him. "Anything I can get you sir?" She asked. Her face displaying no emotion. Though, she truly wanted to slap him for some reason.
"Mmmm perhaps if I was born in a different household I would work too. But I'm not, so I perhaps don't work as hard as you think I should. What would you like? For me to apologize for my life?" he asked interested. Oili than transformed into her maid role, and Spencer sighed and rolled his eyes. Nope. He usually didn't mind people acting fake -- it didn't matter normally. But Oili seemed like a girl who had a mind of her own, and if she transformed into a maid he wouldn't be able to see that. But at her question he smirked and raised an eyebrow. "Yes actually there is something you could do. You could say whats really on your mind, or do what you really want do with me." he stated.
Oili eyes changed. "Okay first of all you are very irritating. I have never been as irritated in my life until you began talking to me. I mean me? I am nothing special but a maid of a castle to soon be yours. Your father hates me... I... I just don't understand you!" She panted after her rant and looked at him with wide eyes her cheeks flustered and hands clenched into fists.
Spencer arched an eyebrow and leaned back with his hands resting his head. "Mmmm is that so? So if I understand correctly you find me irritating because you don't understand me? That doesn't make sense. But please, continue. I like where this going." he urged. But than Spencer paused and leaned forward slightly. "My father hates you? Why?" he asked her genuinely curious.
[Sorry I was at the library and the sight of all those books distracted me]
Oili sighed crossing her arms and looking to the side. "No specific reason that you should know of." She whispered. Her cheeks became a rosy red and she moved and sat down beside him. She bit her lip. Hopefully he wouldn't continue to talk about it.... Oh goodness. If he.... Her jaw clenched and she blushed deeper. "Nothing important." She muttered and nodded, convincing herself more then him in a way.
{{no worries!! I totally understand}}
{{no worries!! I totally understand}}
Spencer was now interested in this. But he realized that he could never force it out of her in his regular charming way. No, she seemed to see right through that. So instead he turned towards his less used sympathetic side. He moved in closer to her and touched her chin so she had to look at him. He forced his eyes to look soft and his mouth to look as if he was worried for her. His eyebrows bunched up together, and he made sure not to hold her chin tightly. "Hey. What happened? Why does my dad hate you so much?" he asked her softly.
[Lawl thanks.
Haha now Spencers gonna act all soft and sympathetic just to get what he wants. Hes such a jerk. xD]
[awww! Damn him!!!!]
Oili fought with herself. But he seemed worried... She fought to determine whether or not he was just faking or not. But she broke tears flooding out of her eyes. She tried to hide her face away from him. She couldn't let him know! But... B-but.. She opened her mouth and her eyes. "H-he tried t-t---" she snapped her mouth closed and soon was standing and bowing hiding her face. Fear filling her.
Alp eyes darkened as his eyes met Oili's. "Aren't you a little to comfortable Miss?" He asked then turned towards Spencer. He smiled softly. "Hello Son. How is the garden? I was thinking of tightening it up a bit. Getting some weeds in there..." He sighed softly.

((Oili and Spencer are adorable! ♥))
(Ahahahah Aliya thanks. xD)Spencer thought he had her. She seemed ready to tell him, and the tears certainly proved that. Oili was trying to tell him something but than his father appeared. Spencer cursed in his mind as he saw his father. Dammit. Now he was going to have to wait who know how much longer in order to find out. He dropped his hand so that way, at least she would get in less trouble...right? "Hello father. The garden? It seems to be thriving quite well. The roses are looking especially beautiful today." he commented looking around the vast landscape. At the mention of weeds Spencer paused wondering if his father was talking about actual weeds or Oili. Either way he didn't like it. "Yes I suppose, but weeds simply help make the rest of the flowers stand out don't they? Let them believe they have a shot at life and than crush their spirit." he finished aimlessly.
[Flower: Lol I would hate him so much in real life but here hes amazing so Im okay with him being a jackass. Lol.]
Alp sighed and ducked his head. "I suppose." He muttered then stood. He had to find a husband for his daughter. So many had already signed up but some... Eh, not so good. He stood and bowed towards his son. "I must go find your mother. She seems to be all over the place lately." He nodded then turned and stopped right beside Oili and leaned in whispering in her ear. Before smiling and walking away.
Oili cheeks flushed and her body tensed. She couldn't meet Spencer's eyes. Meet me in my library tonight...
Maybe she could forget about it and the King would too. Why.... She looked up and offered a small smile. "I better get to work..." She whispered. She tried to make her voice strong and happy but that failed. She bit the inside of her cheek. "If I go would you go off picking up those weeds?" She tried to joke.

Spencer watched as his father began walking away, but paused to tell her something. She seemed to be taken off guard but, if it was anything disturbing his father didn't let on. Once he was out of sight, Spencer turned back to her. "Sorry about that. I didn't realize he'd be here..." he trailed off. But at her joke Spencer smiled. "Don't worry. I'll try not to kill off any of them yet." he said. Spencer wiped away a couple stray tears that were still on her face and got up. "I suppose I should let you go on. Try not to be irritated so easily." he said and kissed her cheek lightly just to annoy her. "Later Brownie"
That made her laugh. A faint blush covered her cheeks and she began to walk away. "Goodbye Spence." She snickered at the nickname she had called him before she quickly trotted off.
[that would be horrible!!! But such drama!!! >.< haha. I love Spencer!!! Just saying{]
[Lol that would beeeee. I mean how is he supposed to fall in love with her if she is gone? But thanks, hes so much fun.]
[oh!! I got it!!! What if later in the Rp when they are closer. The king finds out she was like.... Illegally there!?]
[Ohmygosh that would be perf. Dude if/when they confess their love for one another and stuff it should be in the place where they first met. Just saying. Lawl we're going so cliche on this but whatever.]
[haha^.^ and like when he or she does confess that's when the guards come and take her and he could be all confused!!!!]]
[oh! I could self roleplay!!! Okay. Well now! Haha>.< sounds fun!]
Adelaide laughed. "Well, maybe so. It still isn't that important, though." She looked around the gardens As there was a light snow falling.
