Entwined with You
question
When Gideon was "leading Corinne on"

... What do you think that entailed?
When Gideon said in Entwined with You that he was "Leading Corinne on" and he feels "Bad about it" what do you think he did to make her feel that way in Reflected in You?
I know it wasn't anything sexual but do you think he flirted with her, held her hand, joked around with her, dare I say... even kissed her (Hand, forehead, cheek, etc. etc.?)
What are your theories?

I think that everything was clear for Corinne, she knew that he loved Ava,she wanted him so desperatly she accepted to be just a kind of a "public escort" and i'm more than sure that nothing happened between them, they shared a history, that's what probably made conversation but most of all it was just an illusion Gideon created to everyone including Corrine to cover up for the murder of Nathan

cos think about all the press pics Eva got on google alerts
he needed to cover Eva and his ass on the death of Nathan and Corrine was his cover
he had to fake intimacy for the press
but he said up front to Corrine he loved Eva and there relationship was nothing more than friendship at least that is what he said to Eva in EWY

well you have to think about it from a girl's point of view. Corinne was the one who pursued Gideon from the very beginning and even though some time has passed - clearly it wasn't enough. i think that she wasn't happy enough if her marriage that she was willing to take any phone call that he picked up or any time that he seemed to drop what he waws doing for her as a hint that there may be something more.
i feel like when you're so interested in someone and you make it your life's goal to get with them, you'll feel like you're being led on. no good can come of that - since she is/was clearly delusional.

She only left him because he held back. She tried to manipulate him into caring more. And when a new girl turned his head and brought out the actions Corrinne had wanted, she tried to sweep back in and take over. So him using her only encouraged her delusions. He felt bad which is understandable, but she was already manipulative and delusional.
