Powell's Indiespensable Book Club discussion

Has anyone started this book yet? I'd love to know how everyone is feeling about it.

It took me forever to start this book. I just didn't feel I was ready to dive into a story of war and suffering at the outset of the pandemic. I'm so glad I finally did, though, because it is one of the best, most arresting reads I can remember. The language is so beautiful, it propels you through the horrors she's describing, and the characters are so multifaceted and well-defined, you have a million goals for each of them by the end.
