Look who's back for round 4? I'm hoping 2020 will be my El Toro year, but I'm starting with my tried and true Mt. Kilimanjaro. I think I know all the paths off Kilimanjaro by now, but there's always something new to experience in a climb. I'm a little behind on my 2019 challenge, but I'll try as hard as I can to reach the top since I haven't failed to complete a TBR mountain since I started out.

Comment:I just couldn't get on with it - the writing is so primary, and there are things that happen to further the plot that are too convenient and not at all convincing. Not my thing.
After a lovely book that I, unfortunately, can't count towards this challenge, my first DNF of the year. But that also means 4 books out of my shelves/kindle, so yay?

Comment:1/3 in and nothing has happened, plot-wise. All we see is our MC living her life and the beginnings of what I'm pretty sure is an instalove of the annoying variety. Meh.

The second book in the Winternight trilogy, The Girl in the Tower, was my favourite in the series. Glad you liked the first in the series and I hope you enjoy the others. I gave Genuine Fraud 3 stars too. I have Sorcery of Thorns on my radar...might bump it up the list abit.

I can't wait to read the next installments in the Winternight trilogy!
Genuine Fraud was a bit of a deception, but overall interesting.
You should definitely bump up Sorcery of Thorns up your list, it was such a good, delicious read! I'm wanting to pick up Rogerson's other novel An Enchantment of Ravens pretty soon!

More completed series/trilogies and more series up-to-date, yay!
I'm happy with my readings this month. I still have one or two books on-going that I may finish before the end of September, one of those counting towards my TBR.
Of the other on-going ones, only one not on my TBR: two from series I already started (one of those a conclusion), a classic, and two series starters (I know, I know, but I have to replace the ones I'm finishing).

Aand, that's it! The flag is planted, Kilimanjaro is, once again, conquered! I don't think I'll read anything else that'll count towards this challenge these last few days, so there's no point in trying to reach El Toro. So, till next year!
