I just watched Snowpiercer, so here's another, additional idea. (I like to multitask...)

I have always loved the dystopian genre, but recently it seems that every teen book is in that genre. But if the idea is really interesting, then I don't mind as much.
Ah yes. I had a really nice dystopian roleplay once... A few years back... and then it died and my heart was torn out.

It's about this teenage girl who is a midwife and each month she has a quota of babies she has to give to this city inside these walls. Everything seemed fine, despite the poorness she lives in outside the walls until her parents are arrested for some reason. It's really good. :D
It is! ^_^ I read the first book three times, I think, and I might read it another since I want to refresh my memory.
The first book was definitely the best book. The rest went downhill and I personally didn't connect with the author or the characters. And I like Jennifer Lawrence too. :)
Nah. She's just really really really really really really really really really really really awesome.
I'm honestly not a huge fan of the dystopian craze that's going on right now. I never finished The Hunger Games trilogy (though I did enjoy the second one). The only other dystopian trilogy I've read was James Dashner's The Maze Runner series, which I actually really enjoyed. I watched Divergent but haven't read the books. Other than more zombie-esque things (The Last of Us, I Am Legend, The Walking Dead, etc.) I don't have much experience with the dystopian genre.
I feel the same. The craze is getting annoying and what's more, I feel a lot of them are female writers with a love triangle thrown in for drama.

Watch Snowpiercer though! It was a refreshing take on the whole thing!
Ji Mei ^_^ wrote: "What is it rated?"I'm pretty sure it's rated R. I haven't seen it myself but I've heard a lot of good things.
