The Reader What do you guys think? Personally the best part of this book is seeing Apollo's character development (especially Happrocrates). I also liked seeing Frank and Hazel. My only complaint was that I was not a huge fan of how they handled Reyna's character.

Megan Clemens Agreed. It’s also nice to see camp Jupiter again.

BookLover Its nice to see Camp Jupiter and some of the Argo II demigods and Reyna. I also think that Reyna's story could have lasted a little longer. It feels like Riordan did away with her. The truth is that he wanted her out of the way because the series is coming to an end and he wants to finish it. The change in Apollo's feelings toward humans and people and life in general is definitely a plus. He was so guilty toward Harpocrates and the Sibyl of Cumae that you almost can't help feeling bad for him except when you remember that this is his punishment and the result of his past actions.

Dean Ryan Martin It is an OK-book. I just gave it 5 stars for its consistent tone of writing and the strong characterization of Frank. He is the star of the show, the reason why this book deserves some attention. Plot-wise, Tomb is fairly the same with The Burning Maze but Maze is a lot better considering the rise and fall of its level of excitement. It seems to me, however, Tomb is good enough to prepare us for an explosive finale.

I am considering of re-reading Books 1 to 4 before the arrival of Tower of Nero in September. I need to make time for a re-read and might have changes in star rating too.
