Literary Horror discussion

Not sure where to put this so thought "News" might be best, but it seems author Michael Blumlein has died at age 71. Can't find many details online yet (I first heard this via Ann VanderMeer on Facebook) but Rudy Rucker has also noted that Blumlein has passed away: http://rrhorton.blogspot.com/2019/10/...

We read a Blumlein collection earlier this year and I have read other stories by this author and I was so impressed by his intellect, warmth, and humanity, his ability to imagine himself into other people, their lives and circumstances no matter how distant from his own. I am saddened by his loss at an age that just seems too young in this era. May his memory be a blessing.

Sorry to hear that... we did enjoy Blumlein's The Brains of Rats. He has a new novel out, Longer, which I've been tempted by.
