I can totally understand her decision and I don't think she really had any other options. I guess she could have told the truth and hoped that they would still let her help.
I couldn’t see any other options either once her boss decided to sit on the sidelines with her research. I might have done the same thing, initially.
I think I would have done the same thing also. And if she had told them the truth, she would have been sent back.
Her boss was an a$$ only caring about how the situation would affect him. Olivia had little choice if she wanted to solve who really killed her sister. Her research was amazing and it's possible they would have let her into the investigation based on that alone.
His behavior was appalling. At a minimum, he could have reached out to them with the info, offered assistance.
He is responsible for delaying the Seattle police from having information that could only have helped in their investigation.
I certainly understand Olivia's choice, since she felt so responsible for the wrong man's imprisonment. Her boss -- y'all have noted what a dandy character he was, NOT!
