Maybe our theme could be Goodreads Choice Awards books?

I've just seen the poll and am wondering whether it is necessary to have read "the Wizard of Oz" to understand "Dorothy must die". Does anybody here know?

Its not necessary to read The Wizard of Oz before you read Dorothy Must Die, I think that you would understand it just fine. :)
