The main street is quieter than the port, but it is still very loud compared to the quietness of the countryside. Stores, selling more exotic items fresh off boats are abundant here. Almost anything can be bought, fabric, food, animals... the possibilities are almost endless. Of course, everything here is legal, or at least seems to be, and there are very few, if any, pick-pockets. A river on which smaller crafts travel is down the middle of the street, presumably carrying more produce.
