Lunaria glanced around ready for the ew line of dragons coming in for requests

Echo was distracted by something outside the door. “Um... Lunaria? Is it normal for you to have a Skywing with huge wings walking around in your palace?” She asked warily.

Ash rushed over to the door and looked out. “Oh! It’s Prince Twister! He shouldn’t be here! What is he doing?”

Twister was led into the palace, all the while unsure on how to proceed or to react at such an unexpected occurrence, having never expected to land in the rainforest kingdom... less the hatchery! And now he was being taken to the palace??!

"Oh" She said bowing low o Twister while shooting Echo a warning look. She didn't wan him to know about her. Not yet.

Echo saw the look and clamped her mouth shut. She glanced over at Ash and saw that his jaw was tense. He looked nervous.

"Ash," Lunaria said, "What do you think we should do?" He was the Skywing here. She trusted him to do what he needed to. He was loyal to her.

Twister looked at the gathered dragon confusedly, unsure on how to proceed. There was an icewing, a skywing, and the rainwing he had met earlier in the hatchery. He didn't know any of them, but the possiblity that the skywing knew him wasn't hard to imagine as he was a prince. Sometimes dragons where best not knowing who he was.

"I'm the queen" She explained with a smile.

the skywing prince staggered backwards a bit, not expecting that her host had been the queen all along. "Wait, queen Lunaria? You are queen lunaria of the rainwings?" he exclaimed before he managed to stop himself from sounding surprised.

"Yes' She said laughing softly. : I am"

“I think you should demand to know why he is here and what he is doing...” Ash whispered through clenched teeth. He was really on edge and nervous at the Prince’s arrival.

"Good idea" She whispered. " Why are you here?" She asked with authority. If he knew queens he would also know she was an anmuis.

Twister noticed a bit clearer the sky wing and realized he was a firescales. “You’re a...” he muttered before queen lunaria spoke and asked his reason for being there with her queenly voice.

“I was flying away to clear my head, your majesty,” he said, bowing, finally realizing that he was indeed in front of a queen... if she was anything like his mother, he needed to tread carefully and answer with a bit more caution than before. “I happened to land in the hatchery and for that I’m sorry. I should’ve paid mind to where I was.” He kept bowing.

"Stand up," She said annoyed. " I am nothing like your mother. I am most likely younger than you" She was a very young dragon and had recently gained the throne using her powers. " Yes this is a firescale and an icescale who are under my protection and in no way are you bringing them to the mercy of your mother" Echo and Ash were safe from Queen Amber

“I don’t believe him!” Ash shouted accusingly.

“There is no truth in his words...” Echo said quietly, her eyes closed as if she was asleep.

“That isn’t a very good story.” Ash commented. “At least try to make it bearably believable next time. So, for real, why are you really here? Did Queen Amber send you to follow me? Did she expect me to fail my assignment?”

"what assignment?" She said slowly and venomously.

“Don’t worry. It’s not about you or the Rainwings, I promise, and it definitely isn’t important right now.” Ash said reassuringly. “HE is the real problem. The one you should be focusing on.”

Twister watched the exchange, unsure on how to proceed. He rose from his bowing posture and sighed. “I’m sorry, i am used to queens being extremely annoyed at me not bowing at them all the time so I did what I usually did. I’m sorry if that offended you,” he apologized. “And what I’ve said is true. Well, partly,” he confessed, looking at ash and echo for a few seconds, curious after they mentioned an assignment from her mother. He wondered what it was. Nothing good ever came from her mother... “I am on a personal mission to get all the queens together and discuss peace once and for all. Wars have been going on for too long. I was simply taking a personal time for rest since progress has been... frustratingly slow.” He said the last with a tired sigh.

“And I am nothing like my mother, please don’t look at me like if I were her...” he muttered, looking away.

“You? Rest in the hatchery?!” Ash snorted with sarcasm. “Since when does a Skywing Prince sleep with a bunch of Rainwing eggs?”

Echo still had her eyes closed. “Ash” she whispered calmly. “Stop, that much is true... I can feel it...” she said, reaching out and grabbing his claw. The sensation was still weird. After never being able to touch anyone, much less each other, it was amazing that they finally could.

“What do you mean?! He clearly has another purpose in mind!” Ash retorted sharply, yanking his arm spout of Echo’s grasp. “Sometimes your sense isn’t right, Echo, and now is one of those times!” He glared at Twister, daring him to confess.

“It’s true,” twister said, feeling a slight pain at being labeled as a lier. “I would never wish I’ll to other dragons, and if what puts my credibility in doubt is my mother’s blood running through my veins then I shall show you proof I want nothing to do with such a...” he stopped himself right before he said monster. He wouldn’t call her mother anything that would alienate him more from her than he already was. She hated him already. He didn’t wish to make her despise him more.

“...with Queen Amber,” he said finally said.

“Then again,” he began muttering, answering directly to ash. “I think I know who you are. I knew I’d heard your name somewhere, and after the icewing said ashe a couple of times I knew I’d heard it somewhere. I saw you not too long ago with Queen Amber so don’t play innocent yourself!” He was getting worked up, his usually calm demeanor breaking, forgetting for a second that he was in the presence of the queen of the rainwings.

“Oh, so now I’m being accused? You still haven’t told us just what you were doing napping with a bunch of unhatched Rainwings!” Ash bit back a growl. “And what were you going to say? You stopped yourself and changed your words. What were you going to say?” Ash said, narrowing his eyes at Twister.

“What I’m doing is none of your business,” he snapped, “I shall be truthful to Queen lunaria and withhold no information to her as I’m completely sorry about barging in like that, but I have nothing to say to you!”

How dare he accuse him of lying? Twister was tired of dragons doubting him all the time. “You, who accuses me of lying and then puts me instantaneously in league with my mother.”

“I’m not putting you in any league with your mother!” Ash snarled. “I just find it very suspicious when a Prince decides to take a nap in a room full of eggs, Rainwing eggs at that!”

“And I know that you definitely NOT like Queen Amber! At least she doesn’t play silly word games! She speaks her mind and always says what she means and does what she says!” Ash informed the group, directing the words at Prince Twister.

"Shut your sorry slothy mouths," Lunaria said. "Twister, I trust you. Ash, thank you for caring and I think you're right. We still need to take precautions. Let's make one thing straight. No one like Amber" She said calmly. " I also find it stragne that it's in the hatchery but he's telling the truth." She said to Ash hoping he could remember her powers.

Twister wanted to reply but found himself unable to as his body vibrated angrily. He knew he should calm himself but at the same time his frustration of many years of acting passively seemed to boil. He took an involuntary step forward, barely controlling himself. “I. Didn’t. Sleep. With. The. Eggs.” Step. “I. Didn’t. Know. It. Was. The. Hatchery.” Step. “I. Don’t. Okay. Word. Games.” Step. “And above all...” step. “I’m not a LIAR!” he growled, showing his teeth and unfurling his enormous wings, showing his full gigantic wingspan as he glared daggers at Ash. “And my mother is a snake...” he muttered, barely a whisper. “Her words are poison.”

Right after, he heard Queen lunaria and realized what he was doing. He immediately looked apologetically at Queen Lunaria. “I’m sorry for my outburst, I...” he found no excuse for the way he had acted. It truly had been an outburst he should’ve controlled.

"It's fine" She said soothingly " I believe you" She did but she wasn't sure she could keep her patience. "Ash" She said "Escort him to his room" She looked at his pendant hoping he got the message. If Twsiter acted up act in response. "I could use some peace" She said massaging her horns

Ash understood her signal and nodded sharply. “Follow me, your majesty.” He said, trying to keep the sarcasm out of his voice. “And don’t try anything funny.”

Twister nodded. “Thank you, your majesty.” He eyes Ash, making his best to hide any displeasure, but couldn’t help his eyes narrowing just a little. “I’ll follow you then, Ash.” He said.

He walked behind ash, unsure on how to act. He chose to simply don’t say anything and walk behind the annoying firescales.

Ash led Twister to a fancy, yet simple room. He deliberately chose the room farthest from the throne room and ushered the Prince in. “This is your room.” Ash said in a lazy tone. “And stay here. Don’t even try to leave this room without the Queen’s permission.” He said, fingering the ruby pennant around his neck.

Twister eyes around the room, thinking how to proceed before he turned back towards Ash. "I do have a question for you, though. I can answer a question you have in exchange," he said neutraly. "What are you doing here? Last time I heard, Queen Amber sent you to Jade Mountain."

“That would be a question for Queen Lunaria if you can find the courage to ask.” Ash replied smugly. He stalked out of the room and headed back to the throne room to get his next orders from the Rainwing Queen.

twister saw Ash leave, feeling a hint of annoyance at his smug response. He sighed as he laid down, gathering his thoughts and unsure on how to proceed. His reaction earlier had been extremely unbeckoming of himself, and the fact that he'd acted like that in front of Queen Lunaria as well... The good thing was that the rainwing queen seemed to be the exact opposite of his mother. Patient, wise, and extremely young.

He couldn't help but feel a long scratch hidden under his wings, remembering the night he had returned to his parents, only to find his mother enraged at his return and attack him. He'd gotten so worked up over such a simple accusing remark from the firescales because he'd felt himself being compared to her...

Ash walked back into the throne room. He walked past Echo who seemed happy again. Clearly, she had forgiven him for snapping at her. Ash reached the throne and faced Lunaria, his face serious. “Queen Lunaria of the Rainwings. I swear upon my life to protect you from any danger. I will even sacrifice my own life to save yours.” He took a deep breath. “I want to be your personal bodyguard. Do you accept? Do you accept... me?” Ash looked at her, hoping she would agree. He didn’t know what compelled him to make that decision, but he meant every word.

“US!” Echo said bravely. She moved up beside Ash. “I also swear to protect your life.” She stole a glance at Ash. “If you accept him, you will have to accept me.”

"Of course" Lunaria said looking at them together. Did they like each other?

Ash smiled and looked at echo, who seemed slightly more nervous at what they had just declared. “Thank you! I...” she looked at Echo. “We won’t fail you!” Shedeclared, as echo nodded avidly. “What are we going to do about the sky wing prince?” She asked Lunaria.

"I would like peace in my kingdom. But the son of Amber? Highly suspoious" She said to Aah and Echo

Ash nodded. “Yes... I can hardly believe him and he’s acting extremely suspicious.” The fact that his mother could’ve sent him to spy on them and then report to her sent chills down her spine.

Echo seemed unsure on what to say, instead glancing nervously at where Ash had taken the prince minutes earlier. “Maybe,” the icewing began “he’s telling the truth. I know him and his mother don’t quite like each other, or so I’ve heard.”

((Lunaria, I seriously need your dragon’s template posted in the ‘Create A Dragon’ thread as soon as possible. I’m sorry if this sounds rude, but if it isn’t posted by tomorrow, you won’t be allowed to roleplay her until it’s posted.

Lunaria sighed. " Echo, there is a chance that this is true but the chances are very slim. I just took the throne and my dragons are ready to find every one of my mistakes." She rubbed her horns. She didn't want this but Twister seemed to make things more complicated. " How about this? I go talk to him myself." She offered

Ash shook her head vehemently. “No! You can’t trust him! Let us go with you!” she declared. Echo shrunk slightly, as she thought about it.

“I think prince twister may not be willing to talk as openly if you’re there...” Echo had felt something was off with Twister, for sure, but he didn’t seem particularly ill-intended. Mysterious, sure. She spoke her thoughts, nervously unsure on if she was right.

'I think so too" She said She walked to Twister's room and knocked on the door
