Piper walked into the blue police box. She entered a room much larger than the outside of the police box, and inside was a young man.

"Who are you?" Piper asked.

The Doctor was busy pecking away at the console, but when he heard the girl he looked up. "No, who are you?" He asked

Piper stepped closer to the doctor, "I am Piper - Piper Willows." She said, "But really, who are you?"

The Doctor still didn't answer her. "How did you get inside," he walked up to her and looked at her

"Well, I saw a blue police box, which isn't very normal," Piper told him. "Naturally I entered."

"But the perception fields are on. No one should be able to see it. What makes you special enough to see my box?" He asked

"I-I don't know," Piper said to him. Who was this man anyway? And why was she the only one to see this box?

"Well, in that case, I'm The Doctor! And this is my TARDIS!" He smiled

"Oh!" Piper said surprised. She didn't think that the man was going to actually tell her his name, "Excuse me, the Doctor, what is your real name though?" she asked, confused, "And what do you mean by your TARDIS?"

"Just call me doctor, and that is my name."

"And my TARDIS is my time machine!"

"Well, okay!" Piper said brightly. "So, doctor, what do you even do in here?"

"I travel in time. And space," he clapped his hands together

"How is that exactly possible?" Piper questioned.

"Go step outside again. Look at what we're in," he crossed his arms and leaned against the console

Piper stepped outside of the TARDIS, and saw quite the opposite of her school building. "What? How did you do this?"

"This is the exact same location, but 247 years earlier

"How is that possible that you made us go back centuries?" Piper asked, confused. Was this a dream?

"It's a time machine," he stepped outside with her and closed the doors. He smiled at her

"Okay, can this time machine do anything else?" Piper asked. It was amazing to finally have something to do in life, so why not make the best of a time machine?

"It can travel to other planets," he smiled at her

"Other planets besides earth have life?" Piper asked with disbelief, but she believed the doctor. She then asked excitedly, "Can we travel to another planet right now?"

"Piper, was it? There are entire galaxies full of life and different species! We could go anywhere right now," he snapped his fingers and the doors opened

"Yes, it is Piper," she told him. "Is it safe to open the doors now?"

"Go on in," he gestured

Piper stepped out, and saw a quite odd land, and a few weird creatures roaming around. "Where are we now, doctor?"

"Somewhere in the helox Galexy.

"Oh wow, it's so different here!" She said. "So, you use your TARDIS to come here? That's truly amazing! Can we explore?"

"We just have to be careful," he said seriously

"Oh, okay," She said, matching his serious tone. "What dangerous things are here, anyway?"

"I don't know, but danger usually follows me." He said

Piper sighed. Of course this genius was going to have danger following him, it seemed obvious, "Well, we're never going to get anywhere if we don't take risks, right?"

"I like your style," he smiled. "How old are you?"

"Oh!" She said, surprised by the quick topic change,"Thanks," Piper said, smiling. "I am 16."

"You're young. Why would a 16 year old walk into a mysterious blue box and run away with a strange man?" He asked

"I don't know," she said, slightly laughing. "I am very curious about a lot of things, and it's not every day that you see a blue police box with a genius with amazing powers in it."

"Genius? I like that," he smiled

"It's only the truth. Who else can time travel and go to different universes? You're the only person that I know of," she said with a smile.

"Not, uh, different universes..." He muttered. "Just different galaxies"

"Oops, sorry," Piper said. "You know, in school, people don't really realize the difference. Now I do. Anyway, where's your favorite place to go to?"

"I've been to so many places in my life..." He said

"Wait, doctor, how old are you?" She asked.

"Old enough to know that you'd rather not get a history lesson right now. Let's go, cmon!" He started into the new planet

"Well, okay!" Piper said brightly, then walked beside the doctor on the new planet.

"So Piper, tell me about yourself," he said

"Well, there's not much about me," she said. "Let's see, I'm a girl that lives on earth, I don't have any siblings, school is boring, though I like mathematics and science, I basically had no life until I met you, and that's about all."

"Everyone has a life before they meet me! I just make it more exciting," he smiled

"Yeah, it's just a boring life," Piper said. "So, what's this planet even called?"

"Let's find out!" He took out his sonic and probed the land. "This planet is called..." His expression changed to something darker.

"What is it?" she asked as the doctor's face turned dim.
