"Stick and stones may break our bones but names will break our spirit." The Misfits book by James Howe is about a group of people that don't fit in with everyone else. Bobby, the main character, get made fun of because he sits alone and gets his sandwich. Bu they dint know that his mom died and she would make him sandwich so he eats them. But he get called names like fat, fatty and fluffy. Then there is Joe small and short and very shy. Skeeie is funny but he says thins that can make people hate him. Then finally Addie she is nice, smart and determine. People make fun of her because she it tall and smart. They make fun of her and call her names like smarty, know-it-all, and tally. She speaks her mine and isn't afraid to say what she want to say. I like this book because it was realistic and sometimes this happens to other people. I recommend this novel to any one because bully can happen anywhere and there is no age that people don't do it at. Other books that the author wrote were are Totally Joe and Nighty-Nightmare. This novel is like The Queen Of Waters because of the struggles and how they both accomplished them. What would you do if everyday you went to school someone called you mean names?
