Kelly Green Hicks (kelly's bookish world) This category should be a fun one! It is always fun to read a book set around the Christmas season. We usually have a display of Christmas books at the Library after Thanksgiving. Happy Reading!

Kelly Green Hicks (kelly's bookish world) I plan to read The 19th Christmas by James Patterson since this is a series that I have been keeping up with. I love strong female characters and this series called the Women's Murder Club has a homicide detective, a medical examiner, a reporter, and a defense attorney that all fit the bill.

Sara Kreps I read Christmas Shopaholic. It's the second of the Shopaholic series I've read. The other one was Shopaholic and Sister and came highly recommended by my own sister because they are very much like us. I hope she doesn't still think I'm like Jess (the sister) in this book because she has become an Evangelical Eco-freak. Overall the book was good, albeit predictable. I feel that it went about 50 pages too long with some scenes being overly contrived. Still a fun, light romp.

Kelly Green Hicks (kelly's bookish world) Sounds like a good read, Sara! Sara wrote: "I read Christmas Shopaholic. It's the second of the Shopaholic series I've read. The other one was Shopaholic and Sister and came highly recommended by my own sister because they are very much like..."
