For me Raist has always been my favorite not because he's a great guy, but because of his complex character which I admit comes out more as the series goes on, especially in the next trilogy. I'm curious to see everyone's take on Raistlin after his interaction with Bupu.
I really like Tas. I always thought he was fun but adult me really likes him a lot more. The curiosity, the childlike goodness, his inquisitiveness, and he's kind of a badass.
Riverwind was never a fav of mine. Too stoic, too rigid, but he has his moments.
Tanis is still high on my list. His struggle with leadership is really well played out in the book. He's good at it but it's still a struggle which makes it seem more real.
Fling I'm liking less than I did before. He seems too bumbling. I'm all for the gruff dwarf character but he just seems kinda like he's always stumbling around and into things.

Raistlin is still my fave, even more so after Bupu. He *is* the most complex which makes him more compelling. He has multiple things going on and is battling with selfish needs against the needs of others. It makes for interesting reading.
I'm liking Tanis a little bit more, he has been slightly less emo (and Sturm seems to have become slightly more emo). I also continue to love Tas. He comes up with unconventional solutions to problems the group faces and even though he is small he is brave and willing to do his part.

Raistlin is a close second, though, and mostly because of his relationship with Bupu in this section. I totally forgot about it, and was doing a whole lot of squealing over how cute they were.
Riverwind is starting to annoy me, as well. He got very possessive of Goldmoon in a not great way that's different from before, and when she "forgave" him, he had this really eerie smile. No thanks.
But Flint! He makes me giggle every time.

Tas is still solidly first in my heart. All the characters have such defined personalities, I can say I like each of them for different reasons. But so far Tas is the most interesting.
