Poseidon sits on a piece of coral. He was worried for Urchin, what if she hated school? What if everyone bullied her? “That school was a horrible idea!” He thought to himself, “I’m an idiot for sending her there. Maybe I should just go bring her home now? To save her the pain!” Then he thought of the other side “Urchin was begging me for weeks to get send there! She would kill me if I brought her home.” Ugh he flashed and buried his face into his talons.

Ran swam, trying to find something to eat.

Poseidon sits up, maybe it was a good idea, but maybe not!

"Ugh, I don't want to make stupid nets. I want to DO SOMETHING with my life. But NO all there is to life for my family is making stupid nets." She thought

Ran spotted a seawing sitting on a piece of coral, talking to himself. "Are you okay?" she flashed at the dragon.

Poseidon turned around and flashed “Yeah, I guess.”

"What's wrong?" She flashed, "You seemed upset."

Poseidon sighed and flashed “It’s just that I’m worried about my sister.”

"Why?" she flashed

“I sent her to the academy place.” He flashed, then again flashed “I’m not sure how’ll she’ll do.”

"Oh, I'm sure she'll be fine, they have really nice teachers there, at least I heard they did." She flashed

“Yeah, I hope so.” Poseidon flashes, “It’s just she isn’t used to being around other dragons before.”

"Oh," Ran sat down and flashed, "I'm sure she'll do good, they have a lot of nice dragons there."

“Thanks.” Poseidon flashed.

"You're welcome!" Ran flashed then added, "I need your advice, I want to do something with my life but my parents and family think I should make nets. I REALLY don't want to make nets."

Poseidon thought for a second, then flashed, “Well, you could run away. Not exactly the best idea though. Or you could tell your parents how you feel.”

"Hahahaha-ha, oh thanks for making me laugh. But seriously, I've told them I don't want to make nets and they just told me I was feeling sick and delirious." Ran flashed, "If I run away, they'll just send out a search party. If I'm gone for over 30 minutes they start to freak."

"They are obsessive. It's because they lost my uncles in the war." She flashed

“Oh, that makes sense then.” Poseidon flashes, “My parents clearly don’t care about me. They sent me off on my own when I was 2.”

"Oh, wow, are you okay?" Ran flashed at him

“Yeah, I’m over it. They don’t care for me, I don’t care for them.” He flashed.

"That's so sad!" flashed Ran and she gave him a hug.

Poseidon hugged her back, he was definitely over his parents. Plus, if they hadn’t left him, he would have never found Urchin’s egg. And without Urchin, he would have no use in life.

Ran cried and flashed at Poseidon, "I won't run away then, thanks for changing my mind."

“No problem.” Poseidon flashed back. He wasn’t usually good at helping dragons other than Urchin, so he felt good about himself.

"Hey, I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name, I'm Ran" she flashed

“Poseidon” he flashed.

"nice to meet you Poseidon! I hope we meet again soon!" Ran said before she swam off to go to her house.

“Yup.” He flashed. Once she left, he decided to go home and sleep. After talking to Ran, it made him feel better. Now he could actually sleep without having worried thoughts about Urchin.

Auklet pushed sand around with her feet. She was sooooo bored!!!!
She looked around and saw a tide-pool, she slowly started to scooch over to it, but was stopped by a guard, " Princess Auklet? Your mother wishes for you to stay here," he said
Auklet frowned, "But, I was just going to the tide-pool right over there," she said
The guard shook his head, "Your mother made it very clear that you were to stay in this exact spot," he said

Auklet frowned and sat down on the sand. She huffed at the guard, thankfully, she wasn't wearing the harness that her mother had someone make for her. She laid down on the sand and waited.
A few minutes later...
Queen Coral burst out of the sea, "Auklet! My baby! Your new harness is ready!" she said with a big smile as she hugged Auklet.
Auklet frowned, "My NEW harness?" she repeated, "You promised no more of them, especially after I started to take battle classes."

Queen Coral tilted her head, "Did I? Or was it my evil twin!?" she gasped,"Oh, yes, that would make an EXCELLENT Story line.." she murmured and started to walk away.

A guard cleared his throat, "Queen Coral?" he said and nodded towards Auklet.
Queen Coral gasped, "Are you suggesting that I almost forgot my daughter!" she gasped and then pointed at the guard, "Off with your head!" she demanded.
The other guards moved closer to the one guard that she had pointed at and tackled him.
"Wait!" Auklet cried, "He was nice to me! I don't want his head to be cut off!" she said
Queen Coral sighed, "I suppose it WOULD be a waste of dragons." she motioned for the guards to get off of the one guard, "This is a Royal Pardon, you will not get more than one of these, so be careful," she warned

The guard nodded and shuffled his feet, looking down at them

They left to the palace

Dolphin would swim around in circles, after a few seconds she would play with the sand...as she began thinking, “Sand! It’s just so amazing how you can easily make things with it! Maybe I should swim with the dolphins that would be fun, like like like maybe have a great feast with them eeee!” She twirls happily just wondering what she would do today.

Ran walked up onto the beach and laid down in the sun. She smiled, she had decided to leave her family for a better life without nets. She saw another Seawing and walked over to it, "Hi! I'm Ran!" she said with a smile

Dolphin would look up to her and smiled, “Hi! My name is Dolphin! Wanna be friends best friends? Oh I’m talking to much I’ll let you have your turn” she said happily

Ran smiled at her, "Nice to meet you Dolphin! I would love to be friends!" she said

Dolphin would hug them happily, “I’m so glad! I’ve never had a friend before! Until now of course, but what are you doing out here Ran?” She question her

Ran laughed and hugged Dolphin, "Nothing really. I'm just running away from my family because I don't want to make nets my whole life," she said and shrugged, "Anyways!"

Dolphin would nod “I wouldn’t understand I don’t have a family, although I see the dolphins as family!” She giggles

Ran frowned at her, "That's so sad!" she said, "You don't have a family?"

Dolphin would nod again, “Mhm well not that I remember but my life was great anyways! Everything so happy and joyful right?” She said with a big smile

Ran smiled, "Yeah!" she said, something about this dragon just made her want to smile and smile, even though what they were talking about wasn't that happy

She squeaks happily “So what’s your family like? Do they like decorating the nets they make? They must catch a lot of food with those nets!”

Ran laughed, "They're obsessed with making nets, it's in the "family blood" they say. They don't really decorate them they pretty much just make them for the sake of making them," she said and shrugged

She laughs a bit “hehe just like I’m obsessed with having fun!”

Ran smiled, "I see that!" she said, "What do you want to do?" she asked
