I can personally recommend Good as Gold by Joseph Heller, and I see that several other authors have written books with the same title.

A good place for me to fit the final Daevabad book, The Empire of Gold.

I plan to scour my want to read shelf on GR and to see what will be coming up in some of my other group themes and reads.

I'm thinking of this being my three week prompt to get me to 52. The only book I have on my TBR that counts is Spinning Silver so I'm not sure if I'll stick with that.

Grace, Gold, and Glory: My Leap of Faith by Gabrielle Douglas is on my TBR.

Quicksilver by Neal Stephenson, if you want a chunker of a book.

I know; it's so perfect! But I'm having problems getting even a backup for it as written. I suppose that means that it'll be good for me as a challenge.

I started reading this series when it came out, and I absolutely loved it!

I decided to go with Death Wins a Goldfish: Reflections from a Grim Reaper's Yearlong Sabbatical.

I feel like it may be cheating, but The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi is the one I'm going with. Technically, 'gilded' is another word for 'gold' or 'covered thinly with gold leaf or gold paint.' Plus, the cover is just damn gorgeous.

Turns out I may be bending this prompt. This year I read The Reader from "The Sea of Ink & Gold" series, so I was planning to read the next book in the series, The Speaker. The only problem is that when I look up the books now, they have changed the series to "The Reader Series." Some parts of GoodReads & the older book covers still show the original series name. Unless I find a really compelling alternative, I think I am still going to use this book.

A Touch of Gold was amazing. Inspired by the Midas myth/folklore. Loved it!

I'm leaning toward Chain of Gold, but I also recently found out about Darling Rose Gold and that looks really interesting too!
