Jerusalem (alan moore) reading group discussion

I'm not sure if you three know each other personally and I apologize if I'm intruding on your group. If you'd rather remove me, I'd totally understand.

I'm only on page 100 so far but I just dawned on me that I might want to pay closer attention to the different routes that characters are taking in the different stories. Is there some significance to the routes that I need to pay attention to? Are these routes plotted somewhere on the internet? It would be very tedious to get a map and plot these routes as Moore describes them and seeing as the size of the book is a daunting task in and of itself. What are your opinions/suggestions?

No, you’re not intruding at all! Just glad to hear someone else talk about this thing.

Short answer: it will make a lot more sense the further you get. You’ll notice direct overlaps/intersections in said paths and be like “....OHHHHH!”

That's what I'm worried about, though. It's kind of hard for me to process the routes spatially. There is the "delivery door" on the second floor of the church that everyone seems to think is weird but other than that, streets and locations aren't really sticking out to me in particular.

Having finished "X Marks the Spot" yesterday, I'm assuming that is going to be a significant location later on the story. If it sounds like I'm on the right track, let me know. And thanks so much for the help!
