Coмpleтe DeѕcrιpтιoɴJuliette is a very pretty girl, contrary to her own belief. Her hair is naturally a very dark brown, which she dyed a silvery blue for her District and the Games. She isn't too tall, and is very light and slim, but still very curvy. Juliette's skin is pale, and her birds tattoo stands out startling against her skin.
PerѕoɴαlιтyJuliette is a normal girl, living up to simple standards. She's is surprisingly intelligent-above average, some say. With her intellect, costs are also paid. Juliette can tell when people don't like her, are judging her, the likes. And it all goes to her head. It hurts her.
Juliette is very caring and loves to help others. Which is almost a weakness for her now, being in the Games. Where you have to fight to the death. Juliette has never wanted to prove herself violently, only in school with her intelligence.
Juliette is passionate at what she does. She loves to learn and take care of animals-even when she's not supposed to have them. Juliette is that girl that you'd go to if you have a problem that you don't want anyone to know about. She's good at keeping secrets, and gives amazing advice. Some say that Juliette is an old soul in a young body. This makes Juliette very compassionate and empathetic.

Hιѕтory"Why would I want to talk about this?"Juliette's background isn't too special or unique. It's fairly interesting though...
Juliette was born like any child to her parents, Bethany and Steve. She had two older sisters, Elizabeth, two years older, and Marie, four years older. When Juliette turned two, her parents had a little boy who they named Mark. They were a happy family... Until Juliette turned seven. Her parents said the they 'didn't love each other anymore.'
This was a huge below to Juliette. She knew that it wasn't her that they didn't love. It hurt her anyway. Her father left their family. They would see him every so often, but to Juliette, it was never the same. Her father choose favorites, and it wasn't her.
Juliette was always overshadowed by her superior siblings. Her super smart and pretty sisters. They easily got married. Elizabeth had a boyfriend for a long time, and they eventually married. Marie got married by the insisting of her mother. Marie is actually quite happy, and so is Elizabeth. And then there's Juliette's brother Mark. He's really athletic and super attractive. All of the girls love him.
When Juliette's name was called, she was surprised. She was the only girl left to be reaped, and everyone would have tried to volunteer for her brother. Nobody knew who she was. They heard 'Roosevelt' but they didn't realize what that implied. She was the sister of the cute boy Mark, and of the really smart girls Elizabeth and Marie who were happily married.

Personality: Alex is confident and fun loving, known for never taking things seriously. He is incredibly dedicated and determined, and will go out of his way to make sure he gets what he wants for himself and his family. If he sees something as a waste of time, however, no one in the District, or the Capitol, for that matter, could make him change his mind. He is stubborn, arrogant, and can be kind of unpleasant and insensitive sometimes. He has a sharp tongue, speaks his mind and thinks he God's gift to the world, which is a pretty dangerous combination for the people around him. However, he is extremely protective of his family, and would tear the Capitol apart if they hurt anyone he loves.
History: Alex was the oldest of three, excluding his older brother, Andre Rivers, who ran away when he was fourteen. They found his body, days later, floating in the ocean. It's understandable that Alex prefers not to talk about him. He grew in a family of successful fishermen, meaning that, while Alex's family was never rich, his parents could always put a meal on the table. After Andre died, Alex, only seven at the time, had been expected to take over his brother's jobs and pull his weight for his father's buisness, much to his disgust. He never caught anything, not in his first four years of work. He spent his days sunbathing and swimming while he was supposed to be working, until his father found out. Loosing his temper, he accidentally ended up beating his fourteen year old son with a fish hook. The scars are still there, a thin, almost invisible on on his left cheekbone, and another, uglier one running across his shoulder blades. Needless to say, Alex never skipped a days work again.
He had always hated school, seeing it as completely pointless. He was from a poor, family of fishermen, so there was no way Alex was going to grow up to be anything but a poor fisherman. What was the point in learning dates and maths if the only thing Alex was ever going to be calculating in the future was whether or not he could even afford dinner for the night.

Alex never knew that. He just didn't think his father cared.

Lise is a very gentle and compassionate girl. She loves to help others and is rather innocent, but also optimistic. She's also shy sometimes and doesn't like meeting new people or having to start a conversation. However, Lise can sometimes be very indignant and stubborn as well. She will put up a fight if she needs to, and is a very determined and focused girl most of the time. Lise will always stay on task and focus on what's going on at that moment instead of getting distracted. She's very intelligent, and will adapt to any situation after a while.
|History|
Lise grew up in the heart of District 6 with her parents. Their house was small, with only two bedrooms, a bathroom and kitchen with a small dining table. Lise's father worked as a mechanic, earning the family little money. Her mother had a part-time job as a porter, but she was sacked when she accidently dropped the baggage trolley in front of an oncoming train. She had been very sick that day, but her employer showed no mercy. Since then she simply delievered washed and ironed clothing to other families.
Lise's family had a small collection of books, which Lise read continuously. She soon had a love for books and read every one in her house over and over again. She had dreams of becoming an author, but there were limited careers in District 6. Due to her small size, she found she could squeeze into small places. She also found she was quite good at fixing small, broken things. Lise was soon employed at age 11 to squeeze into tight places in trains and fix a few bits and pieces that no one else could get to.
Lise lived a happy life with her family. She spent most of her time with her books and fixing trains, but also outside with her friends from school. She loved school; she enjoyed learning about everything there is to learn-except things about the Capitol. She had a joyous, carefree life.
Until one day.
In District 6, there had been rumours of a small rebel group hiding inside. Lise wasn't sure what this meant and soon forgot about it. But one day, while she and her father were working at the train station, a new troop of Peacekeepers came in. Lise's father was ordered to jump onto the tracks and fix a broken train wheel. The Peacekeepers began to march out and suddenly there was a deafening explosion. Dust, rubble and pieces of concrete and trains and body parts flew everywhere. Lise was thrown of her feet and bashed her head on the rubble. When the dust finally settled, a completely-destroyed train station and train were revealed. The station had collasped on itself and so many people were buried underneath. Lise was laying in between huge slabs of broken concrete. All the Peacekeepers were gone.
As Lise got up, she immediately saw a sickening sight. Burnt, disembodied men, women and children. Hands and feet strewn throughout the destruction. Fires burning everywhere. Sobbing, hysterical survivors.
She never found her father.
Lise continued to live with her mother in grief. She found out it had been the rebels that did it, but hated them so much, for they caused the deaths of innocent District 6 citizens as well. She never returned to that station, or any station, and had a constant fear of trains since that day. When her father's body was finally recovered, he was dirty and bloody and burnt and missing a hand. He was buried, and since then Lise was never truly happy.

Personality:
Posy can be described in one word; Gentle. She has a gentle, kind soul, and would never harm anyone or anything. She believes that violence is the most disgusting thing in the world, and detests anyone who enjoys hurting others. She is a very sweet, caring girl, who, back home, would always help her mother, who tended to the sick and dying. She loves to help others whenever she can and is very light-hearted, not taking insults too seriously. She also likes to see everyone happy and enjoying themselves because from Twelve, she knows that some people's lives are harder than others, but enjoying your life is the most important thing you can do, because you only get one shot, and moping around isn't going to help your situation. She's been through some tough things, but still manages to put on a smile. She is a fighter and doesn't like to give up easily, and although she doesn't look the part, underneath the bubbly, happy girl, she is stubborn, and back home she is known as the "Tough as nails girl". She may not be the typical strong tribute but she knows how to deal with situations one would think no twelve year old even knows about.
But, sadly, Posy, even with her fighter attitude, is oblivious to most of the evil in the world. She doesn't see that people want to hurt her, or that killing is the point to the Games. She was protected from a young age by her mother from the Games, and was told that the Capitol is the best place ever, and that when the kid's are Reaped, they get to be on T.V. And when it's all over, all the tributes get to go back home with money and food for their families. Some call her mother heartless for telling her daughter this because in the long run it will hurt her more that the actual truth, but her mother feared the idea of the Games would crush Posy's kind soul, and ruin the happy go lucky girl, that everyone so dearly loved.

History:
Posy's parents were young when they had her, much to her town's distaste. They thought her parents had doomed her to a life of hunger and misery, but her mother and father loved her dearly and tried to give her the best life they could. Her father was a miner, her mother had no employment but was known as the towns nurse. They made a fairly good life for themselves in their two room house. And Posy grew up knowing nothing but love and kindness. She never had any siblings as her parents knew the risks of bringing another child into a world that was dangerous for them. But she did have friends to play with and her parents always made time to play with her. She was content in her small, cramped house, and didn't want anything else.
But on Christmas day, the day after her 7th birthday, Posy and her mother were home alone, her father had gone off to work, when they were a loud explosion. Her mother begged her to not run outside, to stay inside the house but Posy had already rushed outside to see horrors a child should never witness. Chaos ensued before her as miners were pulled out of the mine, limbs severed, their skin burned. Posy was grabbed by her mother, and yanked back into her arms. But she tore herself free, screaming for her father, that someone should go look for him. She cried and screamed as her mother pulled her away, trying to get her away from the blood and smoke. From that day on, Posy and her mother were alone. Her father had been blown to bits like so many others.
The years that followed were not as joyous as the ones before but her mother tried to cheer her up, and feed her, but it didn't always work out. They were low on money and often had to ask kind neighbors for some extra bread. Soon it was the year before she was old enough to be Reaped, and her mother knew she couldn't be able to handle the truth after having lost her father. So, she made up a story, something nice to help Posy to not be fearful of the Capitol and the Reaping. The next year, she was reaped. And her mother lost it, having lost her husband and now her daughter. She was crying as she said goodbye to her little girl. Posy didn't know why, and was slightly distressed. But all her mother repeated was that she loved her. "I love you, I love you, I love you." Posy only smiled.
"Mama, of course you love me and you'll see me again, don't worry, I'll come back."
"My Mama, she gave me everything she could. She tried so hard to give me the life she thought I deserved, but the Man In The Sky thought otherwise. But she still tried to give me everything."

Her life had been set from the day she was born: live the life her parents had. She hated the concept, so, in a twisted way, she was somewhat glad when her name was called at the reaping.
