Sustain

Sustain hit global stardom. They’ve been gone a year for a worldwide tour, but they need a vacation so they’re coming home for two weeks. When they come home, it’s not the break they thought they were going to get. Old problems rise up again. Old wounds are reopened. Denied lust can’t be repressed. And one will sink to a new low, threatening everything they’ve worked towards. How do I know this? Because I used to be one of them. I’m a sister. I’m a cousin. I’m a friend and I am still in love with one of them.

I don't get how this is apart of the BS series - is there no Alex and Jesse?

In Broken and Screwed pt 2, Jesse introduces Alex to a band he likes to hang out with. Sustain is about that band. A lot of authors do this, instead of having every book in a series be about one main couple they introduce secondary characters that will later be the main focus in other books. By doing this it keeps the books part of a series but it also gives potential new readers a chance to jump in in the middle of a "series" without having to read the other books first.
If you've ever read any Abbi Glines books she does this type of thing with a few of her books that are part of a series.

That was the original plan, to have Sustain be BS3, but since then my plans have changed. Sustain is going to be released as a stand-alone, no series. The next Broken and Screwed 3 (IF there is one) will be Jesse and Alex.
