Nikki | 32 comments I don't know exactly what happened but I decided to drop the case about it. Right now it's just classified as unknown or car accident or something
This is what I sent to someone the first time I ranted
She texted me. She texted me at 9:27. She asked me to go over. I didn't think anything was wrong. Just Nikki being persistent that we watched the stars. So I went to bed. And I woke up the next morning strangely cheerful. So I went out early to pick up Nikki and walk with her to school rather than take the bus (which meant being late to first period but who cares?) and I reached her apartment and her light wasn't on. First clue. Nikki always had her light on so I knew she was up (we walked a lot) it was rare for her to not be up at the time. The second sign was that the window was almost closed and her blinds were down. I broke in anyways thinking that maybe her alarm didn't go off or it was some sort of trick.
She left me with my best and worst memories. Do you know what it feels like to practically skip to your best friends house on a Monday morning so that you can ride the bus together? To feel that something's wrong because the lite isn't shining in her bedroom window? To climb through the open window and stand in horror to see her body sprawled across floor, half naked and bloody? I just can't
I don't really want to rewrite it. Hurt like hell the first time.
