I just landed on a particularly creepy scene at the 25% mark.

Just got this and I'll start it as soon as I finish my other two.

Only around 10% in but seems as though we are headed for (view spoiler)[ some bloodthirsty kids. I am intrigued by the drug tunnel setup, lots of potential (hide spoiler)].

MILK-BLOOD: A Tale of Urban Horror gave me Jack Ketchum flashbacks but I'm getting even more with this story. I'm halfway and it feels a lot like (view spoiler)[ Off Season (hide spoiler)].

You can see Mark's love of running coming through in these opening scenes. About 1/3 thru and you were right about the creepy part, 11. (view spoiler)[ I'm trying to figure out the angles here, the desk clerk at the motel...drumming up victims? The group of homeless, it seems as though they are on the lookout for whatever/whoever is stalking the area but I'm not confident in that assessment yet. Of course that's what keeps things interesting, just enough mystery to keep you guessing. (hide spoiler)]

I had to keep up with Charlene and Kimberly for the Clickers read, no easy task, but I'm back to this one now. I'm around 80% so I may finish up today.

All those players and wondering what role they have in what's going down reminds me a little of the film Hostel. I suspect everyone because they're probably all guilty.

Done. The last half of the book moves pretty quick. I dug (view spoiler)[Lyric's perspective from the stroller during the final scenes. The event was much more terrifying from the position of being a child strapped in a chair unable to see the horror you know is taking place behind you. (hide spoiler)].

Those types of POVs can be tricky but I agree that it came off well.
