Sandee is Reading (sandeeisreading) Hi guys! I am starting my booktube channel, but I am still working on editing my videos. Do you guys have any recommendation?

Elizabeth Conway (theowlerybooks) I use Windows movie maker to edit my videos it is free and if you have a decent camera and good lighting it looks pretty good!!

Akoss I've been using Microsoft Movie Maker since I started mine. It's not amazing but it's free and gets the job done, while I save for something a little fancier. But that's a personal choice.

Both actually. I want to add the picture over video overlay, but see that its not possible for Windows Movie maker. :(

Sandee is Reading (sandeeisreading) Thanks guys for the information. I have tried the Windows Live Movie maker, but it does not have that option unfortunately.

Justin (justinbienvenue) I've noticed you can edit your videos after you've uploaded them to Youtube but only to a certain extent. Like you can edit over a piece but you can't remove it or actually fix it, if that makes sense lol. The trick to editing over a piece of content already uploaded is to make it as authentic as possible so it blends in with the rest of the video or still works in some way.

Arianna Lekhraj | 8 comments I use the YouTube Capture app. It's okay, not my favorite but I have no other way to edit. The only thing is, sometimes it could cut out some footage from your videos. But other than that it's good.

Kip Ferguson I recently found OBS (Free) for recording the videos if you are recording right on your computer. It doesn't really have an editing feature, but you can add "Scenes" where you can pre-load images to appear prior to recording and then just pop them in. I don't do a ton of editing, but I do have Camtasia ($199 normal $169 Education) that I have used for years. I am thinking about switching to VSDC (Free), but I need to learn it first.
