One of my favorite series! This was a really fun read. Anytime you get a book full of Grandma Mazur, get read to laugh a lot. Without giving any spoilers, it's a To Be Continued ending, with an unexpected surprise in the next book.
Another one of my favorite series. One of the unique aspects of this series is there's always a side 'mystery' that captures your attention as well as the murder mystery.

Death in Budapest Library-Loved the characters and loved the plot. the only downside to this book is I don't have a Hungarian restaurant near me because I was always hungry reading it.
The Bodies in the Library-Well written. Good characters. The who and why once revealed made sense. Good book, enjoyed the read, but not sure it is my cup of tea.
Second in the series and absolutely love it!! Great characters, great story. Kind of a twisted plot that I did not guess. Can't wait to read another in the series.
I've had this book in my Kindle for YEARS, because it was a free purchase and loved the cover! It was my online book club's choice for the month, or else I may have never gotten around to it. What a fun read. Loved all of the characters, but not many surprises in the plot. I am pretty invested in these characters, plus their backgrounds are very interesting. I will definitely read another.
So one of my reading goals starting in 2020 was to start reading the Murder, She Wrote series starting from Book 1, as I enjoyed the TV series as a kid.
Easy read, loved the characters (obviously), storyline kept me intrigued. Lots of suspects with plenty of motives. Figured out who the murderer was, but the motive and the twists that led up to it were what I didn't anticipate. Looking forward to reading more.

I've been reading the Murder She Wrote books and I've been enjoying them. Glad you like them.
First time reading a Tonya Kappes book. Surprising, because she has such a wonderful name :) Really easy, quick read, but not sure how I feel about the series just yet. I will have to say...did NOT see that ending coming, and just enough of a cliffhanger to get me to read the second book. I should have a more clear impression if I want to continue or not.
New series. I always enjoy settings near the holdiays. Loved the characters, and did not guess the killer until right before it was revealed. I felt the story went a touch long. Definitely looking forward to the second book, to see if some of the questions left at the end of this book get answered.
Tonya wrote: "Definitely looking forward to the second book, to see if some of the questions left at the end of this book get answered."I dislike when authors leave main story questions unanswered. I started a new-to-me series that left loose threads. Sadly, they weren't answered in book 2. The mysteries were wrapped up; I just don't like hanging threads.
Brand new series! This is my first book by this author and I absolutely loved it!! I am a bit biased as I am an avid bingo player. I loved how Donna nailed all of the quirks us bingo players have. The characters were fun, the story kept you intrigued, and had no clue whodunit. Definitely can not wait until the next book!
Another brand new series. I will warn you, don't read this if you don't have ice cream in the house! Lots of suspects and twists in the story, and definitely did had NO clue who the killer was until it was revealed. Looking forward to the next book, as I think Abby just scratched the surface of the depth of the Crewse family.
I will admit, I am biased about this book. I have seen it as a recommendation for a while. I read the first book in the Sophie Kimball series last year, which I absolutely enjoyed, and I'm a big wine fan, so I thought I'd give this one a try....turns out it's set 30 miles from my house in the Finger Lakes Wine Region!! It was wonderful to read about beautiful Upstate NY. I loved ALL of the characters, especially Alvin. Once again, another book where I guessed wrong on who the murderer was and the motive. I will definitely read the next one soon!
Delightful is the only word I can used to describe this book. Makes me want to go out and buy a fairy garden. Loved the main characters. Wasn't totally surprised by the murderer, but the motive was definitely not obvious. Will definitely buy the next in the series when it comes out.

YAY! I have this in my "catch-up" file now. I was hoping it would be as sweet as it looked.
Well I have hit a reading wall...work has absolutely consumed me since March. I am not going to finish my challenge this year, but that's ok. I will be back in 2021 with a reading vengeance!
Never say die! Adjust your goal. You've HIT the "A" option in level 1 (Snoop) and, you're only 6 (if I count correctly) from hitting the "A" option in level 2 (Investigator).
If one can move up when hitting a level, I don't know why you can't move down to a level that fits your busier-than-usual life.
So... Congratulations on hitting level one (A). I look forward to seeing if you get the opportunity to scale the wall to hit level two (A) now that the busyness of the holidays is added to the busyness of your employment
