Promotion Place - December
I'll do the belt and braces thing and post this here and in November's thread, plus the audiobook one as well.Audible UK's daily deal for December 1st is David Copperfield. Yes, I know it's Dickens, but it IS performed by Richard Armitage!
Audible UK's Black Friday sale (ends tomorrow at 11.59pm UK time) has several Georgette Heyer audiobooks in it: Frederica, The Reluctant Widow and The Talisman Ring. Then, there's a performance of Northanger Abbey by actress Anna Massey; The Chimes (Dickens) another performance by Richard Armitage; Julian Fellowes's Belgravia, performed by Juliet Stevenson and several more titles by Dickens and George Eliot. All are £3 each - a bargain price for an audiobook in the UK.

Ooo! Ooo! It's time for the annual 25 Days of Pride and Prejudice as critiqued over at the hilarious drunkausten.com. Warning: There WILL be excessive profanity. This blogger watches P&P every day - previously, it was the entire 2005 film, and this year she's watching one episode of the 6-part BBC miniseries every day, which means 4 times through the entire series, plus she plans to watch the mini-series in its entirety on Christmas Day - so five times through total. (Yes, she's insane. That's part of her charm.)
Sorry - I must add a correction. Drunk Austen.com did 25 days of the 2005 Pride and Prejudice two years ago. Last year, it was 25 days of the 1995 Sense and Sensibility.

Elizabeth Adams just posted the last chapter in her short 'Swap Meet' over at Austen Variations. I know some prefer to wait until all chapters have been posted before starting to read a story. If you haven't read it, you really should. It is hilarious with a modern twist you rarely see. It is 7-short chapters and I highly recommend it. Here is the link for chapter 1. Enjoy!!
