The Werewolves who tend to Old Harbor, Alaska are known as the Pale Moon Pack while they call their kind Lycans/Lycanthropes. The invading Werewolves are known as the Grayridge Pack while they call their kind Wendigo's.
The Lycan's of Old Harbor hold strict laws and regulations for not just their pack, but their mortals as well. Old Harbor may seem pleasant and quaint on the outside, but what stays hidden is the frequent disappearances of so many people.
The Pale Moon Pack do not tolerate being noticed by the mortals they protect. When someone jumps to conclusions or catches a glimpse of the facts that their pleasant home is governed and policed by Werewolves they tend to go off of the radar in an unexplained disappearance. The Lycans will turn those who can prove useful and kill those who can't.
The invading Wendigo's of the Grayridge Pack are as just as nasty piece of work. Instead of settling down and "protecting" humans in their founded towns, the Wendigo's tend to stay on the move and kill anyone who gets in their way of claiming and taking new territories.
However, both deadly packs who are against one another have a common enemy that challenges them for the safety of humankind. A third pack seeks to take Old Harbor to protect the humans without killing the curious ones. The third pack is called the Glaciem Luna Pack who call their kind Lupins. They search around North America to find towns even cities overrun by tyrannical werewolf packs and free them of such so that no more innocent mortal blood could be spilled.

Old Harbor, Alaska
Among the most picturesque of Kodiak Island villages, Old Harbor is nestled on a narrow strip of beach at the foot of a steep, grassy mountain. To the northeast is an awe-inspiring view of jagged, precipitous mountains which rise up at the end of a small bay. Old Harbor is also rich in history. The Alutiiq people settled Old Harbor more than 7,000 years ago; the community is the site of the first Russian colony in Alaska. Just south of Old Harbor is Three Saints Bay, site of the first Russian settlement. Refuge Rock, site of a pivotal battle between the Alutiiq and the Russians, was recently rediscovered. Long dormant, Port Hobron served as the last commercial American whaling station through the 1920s. Historic Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church is a hub of community activity and the striking centerpiece of the village. Local charter boat operators offer custom sightseeing, kayaking, fishing and hunting excursions. Other visitor services include lodging accommodations. Old Harbor is accessed via air or water.

Old Harbor is located on the southeast coast of Kodiak Island, 70 miles southwest of the city of Kodiak.
It rains and snows 70 inches per year here and the fog levels leave visibility limited.
The population here is limited to a low 227 people. The unfortunate half being that almost 40% of the population isn't even human. Old Harbor is ran by something most know as Werewolves. Here the local pack call themselves Lycanthropes/Lycans while any Rogues or rival packs are known as Lupins/Mutts: Rogues/ or whatever that particular pack calls their kind.
The humans that live in Old Harbor are next to oblivious to what truly goes on in this quaint town. Some humans are aware of werewolves, unfortunately for them when the pack discovers this they are quickly silenced by death or turning, whichever comes first.
So this is what we like to call home I find it best to warn you now before it's too late for you too.
