Yonit | 3 comments Hi, and thanks for helping, I'm looking for a scifi book that happens when Japan wins the war and controls the US,
A man wakes up in a base full of dead people because of an experiment gone wrong.
They harness a new energy that allows them to control matter - change it, anti-gravity, controlling people and they build temples in the US that are actually rebel bases against the Japanese rulers.
I read it 30 years ago, probably 200 pages, light paper back book.

Yonit, around what year does the story begin?

Can you tell us more about the man - e.g., his nationality/ethnicity, job/skills/interests, employer, hometown?

The book you are looking for is Sixth Column by Robert A. Heinlein also called Day After Tomorrow
