Themes and books for 2020

For February, the theme I chose is:
A Plan
Because a lot of people are working on their new year's resolutions.
The criteria are somewhat fuzzy: what story doesn't involve some form of planning? Well, I'm looking for stories that hinged on a great plan or scheme. Admittedly, most of those plans in books failed tragically (and it's just screaming dystopia to us), I think we should give extra credit if it's a working plan, just to keep things relatively uplifting.
some preliminary candidates:
Foundation
Wool
Lies of Locke Lamora

Caper novels also feature plans:

If keeping a balance is your concern, we were a bit light on sci-fi last year: only five you count Steven King. So maybe start the year with some good sci-fi heavyweight.
