Okay you guys. Good choice. The previous contest's results will be released the morning of the 3rd, since we had a tie. And for THIS special #4, I am going to test you guys! You only have 3 days to write this one (Don't stress, hug a pug.)

I meant it like when she says it is her last song, she can't help but write more. Like in defying herself almost is her way of letting her passion and lyrics out. She pushes herself.

Lost!

Oh, the feeling of losing one's way!
I grope through the darkness
As through the forest I stray.

With each passing moment,
and minutes too countless to name
The great dimness deepens

Lo! faintly I hear the howl of a wolf
calling mournfully to the moon
I stumble toward the sound
Longing to see the revealing light soon.

But the wolf ceased its cry,
and in a tree's hollow I crawl
To sleep, and for a while to bide.

Throughout my dreams,
though my bed is soft with leaves,
The haunting word courses through
my mind, and "Lost" ceases not to agrieve.

Hello everyone! I'm new here as well in writing poems and songs. Everyone's writings are so inspiring that I thought I should give it a try. So here's something that hopefully looks like a poem.
Dead and Lost

Leads me back to the same spot.
But does that mean I'm lost?

Tears have joy have turned to sorrow,
The loneliness creeping inside me.
Once I was happy but now I'm not,
Is this how you feel when you're lost?

The starless skies
And the darkness within,
Makes the ghosts move as if in a trance.
Does losing yourself make the shadows dance?

Back then you loved me
And stole my heart
But only to leave behind the shattered pieces.
Searching for them is how I got lost.
