Sunny (sunny1) | 5 comments I need book releases to fill my Coming Attractions column in Kings River Life. I need December ones, but am also scouting for books coming out in 2015. HELP!

Matthew | 1 comments I have a new story out, it's called Albert's Christmas and is a short story. It's not a murder mystery but it's quit a fun, light, cosy/cozy Christmas tale with some quirky characters.

Here's the main gist:

There's a Christmas crisis in Bumpkinton and Fathers Whitworth O'Grady & Harrison Stawker must find somebody to fill some very big, black boots. With protests, flirty florists and a vindictive journalist in their way time is running out. Then someone steps forward to take on the challenge. Someone they did not expect....

Albert's Christmas has been described as "full of delightful and eccentric characters" with "lots of festive cheer".

I hope you'll agree :)

Meanwhile, I have a revised and updated backlist title coming on January 27. Hair Raiser is #2 in the Bad Hair Day mystery series and was originally published by Kensington. This new Author's Edition will be available in various digital formats and in print. It's already up for pre-order on Kindle and iBooks.

Waking Lazarus (A Guardian Novel, #2) by D.J. Williams
Waking Lazarus

Jake Harris' life hasn't turned out the way he planned. Battling his addictions, and the shattered pieces of his family, he is hired to ghostwrite a memoir. From the 1920's story of a controversial evangelist, to the present day mystery of a former District Attorney, everything changes when his search for the truth leads to an atrocity hidden from history. With a past he can't remember, he begins to discover that he is not the person he believed himself to be. Rather, he is a threat to a secret society that has remained in the shadows for nearly a century. Jake is drawn deep inside a world he never knew existed that brings him closer to his own extraordinary destiny.

T.G. Hanson (tghanson) | 11 comments Murder At The Knife's Edge (Mystic Pines Mystery, #1) by T.G. Hanson

This is my very first book and it's available at Amazon (Free under KU) Maybe some of you might find it interesting. Comes out Nov 20 (possible sooner).

You can read the first chapter for free here: http://tghanson.com/murder-at-the-kni...

Emily sat on the edge of the bed counting the chimes from the antique Grandfather clock, in the downstairs hall. One, two, three, four, four am. She’d heard Steve come home, stumble up the stairs, and shut his bedroom door around two in the morning. By now, he’d be deep into a drunken sleep, not waking till late in the day. If I’m going to survive, now is the time to leave and disappear, forever.

Becca (beccasalt) | 1 comments Hello, all! I work for a literary translation press called Le French Book that translates.... well, French books. If you love French cooking as well as mystery, you should check out Minced, Marinated, and Murdered! It's the translated version of Petits meurtres à l'étouffée, and it is tantalizingly suspenseful! If you pre-order it before February 20, you'll get a booklet of authentic French recipes and a food lover's guide to Lyon!

A routine assignment in Lyon, France's traditional capital of gourmet food, turns bitter for food writer Laure Grenadier when a beloved chef is found murdered. A wave of panic follows with a second death, and Laure sets out to find the truth. As she reviews the city's traditional bistros, interviews the town's best chefs and local food producers, and shares stories and culinary lore with her photographer Paco Alvarez, she uncovers secrets and rivalries. But will she find the murderer before the city loses more of its master chefs?

Pre-order it here! https://www.lefrenchbook.com/minced-p...
