Matthew | 8 comments I want to be able to more effectively communicate with other people. I want to be able to use my body language to show my feelings to others, and to be able to better read others' body language. I want to be able to understand peoples' feelings, why they act a certain way, and adapt based on their emotions.

Milo | 3 comments One of the first things I would like to achieve by reading this book is to try and help improve my connections with people that I know, and generate new ones. I would also like to know how to be more self aware, and aware of others. Finally, I would like to practice reaching out to others, without feeling shameful.

I want to get to know myself better so i can know for certain what i want to do with my life. I also want to be more open to change so that i can work better with others and understand them better.

message 5: by Maraya22 (new)

Maraya22 | 4 comments By the end of the book I want to be able to understand why I am a over thinker and how to fix it. I tend to dwell on things and this book explains why people do it and things to help you fix it. This book dives into humans minds and why they think the way they do and I want to understand how to stay out of my head. The book talks a lot about how thinking is a disease and I tend to think way to much.

message 6: by Aj (new)

Aj | 8 comments I want to learn through my book how to break down my walls and learn how to understand and even talk to strangers. I believe that I will do this by gaining a new way of thinking about the world around me and the concept of strangers itself. I also want to learn a little bit about why people don't want to talk to strangers and why some are even often intimidated by strangers.

message 7: by Davani (new)

Davani | 8 comments One specific goal i would like to achieve after this book is i want to be able to let go because i tend to hold on to things, even if it adds unnecessary stress on me or drag me down. I also wanna be able to know how to surround myself around the right people, and know who the right people are.last but not least, I want to be open to change, and be able to accept it.

message 9: by Cody (new)

Cody | 9 comments I want to learn how to be myself all the time and learn more about myself.I want to learn how to control my mental health and how to organize my emotional health. I want to learn how to identify what i'm feeling and express those feelings. I want to learn how to take care of people who are a hindrance to me and how i can still engage with them. I want to effectively use my gifts of imperfection and show others what i can do. Finally i want to learn to let go of the confrontation that other people give me.

message 11: by Missy (new)

Missy | 8 comments I want to improve my thoughts so I can better myself mentally. I want to live in the present and avoid thinking into the future because doing so would cause stress. I want to avoid overthinking and mental clutter because I want to improve myself instead of causing stress and burdens.

message 12: by Joshua (new)

Joshua | 8 comments 1. I want to learn to trust in myself more than I do now because I was told that I didn't trust myself enough.
2. I want to learn to stop worrying about things like school and to be more self-confident because I worry about a lot of things and that is causing me to waste my time.
3. I want to learn to relax easily and more efficiently because I don't relax very often and when I do relax, it takes up too much time and ends up being a time-waster.

message 13: by Eliezer (new)

Eliezer Medrano | 3 comments By the end of reading this book i want to acknowledge where are the weak points of me learning and how i can make these weak points stronger. This book is about the mind tools that everyone has and develops to learn better.

message 14: by Mia (new)

Mia | 8 comments I want to have a better self image of myself and be comfortable with how I am as a person because if I value myself I'll have an easier time feeling accepted. I want to stop procrastinating and using my time doing non-beneficial activities because it doesn't help me in the long run. And I want to figure out what I want to do in life and how, because if I set goals now, I can start achieving them now.

message 15: by Norah (new)

Norah | 11 comments I want to achieve the ability to not make assumptions. Specifically speaking, there tends to be a lot of misunderstandings among my friends. Due to these misunderstandings, I tend to assume the worst of what is being said. If I can learn to not make assumptions about what others say and maintain a clear conversation, I will be able to reduce the drama. I would also like to reach the goal of always trying my best. Sometimes, I will loose ambition and have a lack of grit when I am completing academic assignments. I would like to be able to avoid being hard on myself and just keep trying to the best of my ability.

message 16: by Calen (new)

~I want a broader perspective of myself and the role i play and if i wanna change it.

message 17: by Davyne (new)

Davyne | 1 comments I want to be more confident in myself because because my self-doubt literally gets in the way of me functioning like a proper human being, i also need to not doubt myself if i really wanna get as far away from my family as i can for college without regretting it and inevitably turning back.
