Lukas stood at the edge of the balcony. Aeson truly did know how to get an audience. There was at least three people from every village acting as ambassadors and eyes and ears for their homes. So many voices rang up some concerned and some excited. Lukas began to wonder where the Kralista was. He had heard an announcement was to be made while he was in the stables tending to an ill dragon from the prison. He made his way here in hopes to meet up with the Kralista. the air was chilled a bit from the strong winds coming from the giant falls. The mist the formed clouds in the air seemed to be swirling almost violently as if something was setting it all on edge. Lightning streaked in the air not sticking the ground so much as snaking through the skies.
Himeko had left her son to go straight to the balcony having received word that Aeson had returned and gathered a descent number of her subjects for such an announcement. Having tended to some preparations for the oncoming war she finally made it. She never liked making speeches or announcements, even after four thousand years it still made her stomach knot in worry. Stepping onto the balcony she smiled to the servants, one that gave nothing away. Taking a deep breath she walked up to the rail, placing her hand to the cold stone, spotting Aeson standing close by. "Good evening my fellow subjects. I am sorry to pull you from your homes and duties. I know you all have been unsatisfied with the law I put in place so many years ago, however, it was to protect you. But I need you now. You have been very understanding and enduring of such a law and for that I thank you, but today is no more. Today the law is lifted and mens freedom restored to the old ways before the law was put in place. Today I ask you to take a stand and fight not only for your right but your kingdom to rid this land of on coming darkness once and for all. For this land is pure but to continue to have reigning peace and purity we must stand strong and fight. So I lift the law and hope you support me in this struggle." She called to her people, hearing nothing but silence until the people erupted into applause.
Lukas looked almost completely in shock. What in Solum made her so quick to decide such a thing. Before she made the laws against the darkness and now she does it to once again go against the darkness. He approached his kralista at the sound of applause. "My lady Himeko." He says bowing low..."I trust your judgement, but forgive me for questioning such an action. Why the sudden change of heart?" He asks feeling he was on border line boundaries for a male to do such a thing which normally would be punished by a whipping of twenty slashed on the back and ten on the knuckles. He shook a bit in fear of her words and gaze.
Aeson approached with a smile, "The Kralista needs not to share her reasoning with a servant. your job is to do as your are told not question things that the Kralista does." Aeson was never one to treat the servants well so much as the commoners. Servants were always to be slaves in his eyes paid or not. He believed that payment was enough when given a roof, bed, clothing, and food. He raised his hand to hit the servant of the Kralista for such insubordination.

Himeko bowed to her people, giving them a political smile, waving them goodbye when the boy approached her. Curious she listened to his question, though she could tell he was filled with fear. The interruption of Aeson was not surprising to say the least, but upon his raised hand she froze his motion with telekinesis. "Aeson..." She chastised his uncalled for punishment. She had lifted the law but that did not mean she wanted an internal struggle. Looking to Lukas she offered a warm smile. "I had never changed by heart in the first place. I am restoring balance. I only did what I did to wheedle out the darkness to make sure we were not internally destroyed before we had a chance to fight back. My people deserve the right to fight for their future peace and their children's. Does this answer your question?"
Lukas simply gave the Kralista a fearful nod, "Yes your majesty." He says plainly, "Forgive my questioning, Sire." He says to aeson who looked bewildered at Himeko. She had never stopped him form striking a servant down before, but then again he refrained form such violence in front of her most of the time. "Shall I tend to your bedchambers?" He asks the Kralista shaking a bit still. "Do forgive the onslaught of questions...I only desire to serve you." He says bowing his head low once more. "Perhaps you have a particular place you desire me to watch over?" He asks having had no word about Damian. He always found Damian pleasant to look at and he also found that he desired to speak to Damian often on more formal levels, not to mention the Kralista's daughter, Severity and her twin Serenity. Both were very gorgeous and he would have done anything to talk to them for a single day.
Aeson at last moved behind Himeko. "My dear, perhaps we begin to look over battle plans if we are to take the fight to them before they bring it to us?" He offers kindly taking her arm gently. "We have many matters that need to be looked over and attended to. We cannot waste our time on a servant who claims to have once been military and he is hardly a year over two centuries." Aeson said always having a good sense of age when it came to most Witches.

Himeko wondered why the boy was so fearful of her, she knew she was stern at times but his fear was uncalled for, surely she hadn't been cruel to him in someway. Pulled from her thoughts she nodded. "Yes, do." She told him in reply to his question, taking a step forward. She looked the boy over. "I have no need for you to watch anything, though keeping the guards awake and alert shall be your job for today after you have attended to my room. I doubt I shall be sleeping tonight." She murmured, looking to Aeson. "Yes of course, I know, we have no time to waste, though don't be so quick to judge. Every idea is a welcome idea if it is to win this fight." She told Aeson. "If I need you I will call for you." She told Lukas before walking off with Aeson. "We need to gather a few more and get idea what people think is the best approach." Though the overall decision fell to her, she still wanted opinions.
Aeson simply frowned, "We could call a court together if you would like, my love." He said glaring the servant down. Lukas had always been one he would be more brutal to. Himeko knew nothing of Aeson's rages that he let out on this particular servant. He hated the thought of a common village peasant even joining the ranks of the Kralista's Cavalry, much less being allowed to serve the Kralista. Himeko allowed him into the palace out of grace and the boy seemed to take the position for granted and it scratched at Aeson's nerves to think someone so pathetic could be worthy of such a position as serving his love. Not to mention the boy was a male and had more privileges than most males of the kingdom ebfore today. He never wore a collar and he walked the palace freely even entering the temples freely.
Himeko thought about it for a moment. "I should think a representative from each rank should be sufficient enough." She told him, noticing Aeson's irritation. "Leave the poor boy alone he has done nothing wrong to acquire your wrath." She told him as they continued to walk. "If he has done something truly notably wrong then punishment is to be deserved. We don't want to start losing people now and inviting the darkness." She murmured. "In the meantime a line of men should be put in place to alert us to any oncoming threats, be they from the sky or the ground. I have spells in place to trigger if a threat comes to close to by us time if need be, a distraction if you will. We should get priestess Vivian's thoughts on the matter as well, hopefully get some insight to the future events that might take place."
Aeson simply nods. He was not abotu to listen to his beloved about the boy. His very presence was a crime to Aeson. "Yes my love...I have already called forth guards of our great prison. They will use their dragons to take any sky attacks with a hard counter. We have groups lined at the falls and as we speak numbers grow to flank our enemy at all sides. While our enemy comes from the East with it being the only logical route for an army to take here we will be surrounding the other three corners. If we cannot take them down we will flush them out of our lands." Aeson assures her kindly.
"Himeko my love, what of your position when the war comes? If the Vampires find a way into our underground sanctuary what then?" He asks more concerned. "You will be left unprotected as I will assist in the battle and we will not allow our Kralista to take on the hordes of dark magic users when her replacement has already been captured by the...." He froze silently. his eyes went almost completely colourless as he seemed frozen solid. He received a vision of fire and light and suddenly an image of Markus in the center of a room in solid black stone. He saw Severity being held by Jakub and at last another being who he knew nothing of.

Himeko listened to Aeson carefully on the matter. "Good, good as long as aerial and land are presently alert to possible on coming attacks we should have enough time to prepare and retaliate. It seems we have sufficiently lined our men to trap our enemy swiftly." She looked to Aeson at the concern in his voice. "My love you need not worry about such things, such fail safes have been out into place in case such a thing as this ever happened. Though I wouldn't advise a vampire to get so close seeing as it is more dangerous the closer they get to myself." She realized something was wrong, stopping short she eyed him. "What is wrong, what do you see? Is it Severity? Markus? The boy?" She questioned thinking of spying the situation out herself.
Aeson frowned, "Markus has been defeated? Jakub...their son has turned him into eternal stone. Markus cannot act any longer for as long as the sun stone stays around his neck.....Jakub the son of Markus is our savior!" He says seeming a bit angry now. "Severity will fall for his tricks and Jakub will turn her over to the darkness only to free Markus himself, I am sure of it....I will let you see." He says grasping Himeko in a tight hold before kissing her deeply transferring the vision to her.
Himeko didn't understand what he was trying to tell her. Surprised by his sudden action she felt a flood of images assault her mind in ways she wasn't used to and at first the images she saw were confusing to say the least. Pulling away with slightly flushed cheeks she took a moment to process what he'd shown her. "I-I don't understand. Markus is stone, Jakub saved her but for what purpose if he is doing this other than control of the kingdom. This isn't right. Something is wrong about this situation. We need to get Severity out of there. I can communicate with her but the spell only lasts for a minute but considering the distance it might be shorter." She grew worried, she needed to plan.
Aeson ndos, "Yes you will have to get in contact with her, but not right yet. If Jakub has kept her from MArkus then other plots are being played into this. I am unsure what just yet, but you need to make sure she is alone. I don't see her getting out of Jakub's sights easily." Aeson informs her. He stayed close to her to keep his voice low and from wondering ears as many were walking by in a bit of a celebration not concerned with war so much as the lifting of the law against males.
Himeko nodded in agreement. "The boy I saw earlier did not look very stable and considering the number of monsters they have lurking around, I wouldn't put it past them to try something." She placed a hand to her head in thought. "We need to keep watching them, watch each one who comes in contact with Severity. It will be a long few hours and possibly very draining but considering the circumstances have changed we won't know what is to come our way. My poor Severity." She murmured. "We will need Vivian's help, all three of us will have to monitor the situation. We can not have word get out to our people for they might panic."
Aeson nods, "We should have sent the boy servant to fetch Vivian. No matter I will send word for her." He promises. "I will try and keep my mind open enough to see whatever I may with Severity. I sense this is only the beginning of this war. Xuin is at war with itself at this very moment." He says knowing that Jakub would not have done such a thing to Markus without a desire for power...a desire that Damian has apparently held.
Himeko nodded. "Well if is an internal war then playing it to our advantage might be the best thing and therefore we won't go to war and Xuin will finish itself off." She told him. "I will be in my room for now. I need to find the spell. Hopefully Vivian will come soon so that we may discuss what actions to take next." She kissed his cheek before turning to leave.
