A Place For Anyone discussion

As a kid I didn't read much due to a reading disability until I discovered audiobooks when I was in college and now I can't be found without a book. The book that got me into the reading world was The Hunger Games

1: The Secrets of Droon
2: Warriors (Best books ever)
3: 39 Clues (It kinda got dragged on later on the series tho)
4: Dairy of A Wimpy Kid (Like ever other guy in early 2000’s America)

I think I'm a little older than everyone else here. I grew up devouring anything to do with Little House on the Prairie. I wanted to be Laura Ingalls when I grew up. I also read all of the Black Stallion books.

I don't think there was a lot of fantasy out for kids back then. I had the Chronicles of Narnia, and in junior high I discovered Anne McCaffery's Dragonsinger books, which led to the rest of the Pern books.
