Hi everyone.

Just wondering if people can provide feedback for this year's challenges and monthly reading. Things to think about are:

Challenges:

Did you like the challenge this year?

Do you want to see a challenge next year?

Monthly reading

Do you like the alternating between fiction and classics each month and having a non-fiction every quarter?

Did you like the categories for non-fiction?

Should we change what we do?

Any other topics

Are you happy with the way that the group is run?

Do you think that the group should continue?

The challenge has been really good, have read better books that I expected. Of course I wanna see a challenge for next year, need to know what to read.

I think the changes to the monthly reading has made it better, there feels less stress to try and read them all. I have managed a few this year.

Group is run well and I think it should continue as it is the only active-ish group I'm left in on Goodreads.

I say it every year but this was best challenge so far. I thought it would be one where I skipped a lot but I realised that lots of books I usually read are award winners or shortlisted, although was not aware ( thank you book club and library). Also I read books that I would not usually read. Always good. The other comments by Jason are spot on. I’m not a great reader of monthly book read as always aiming to do challenge. However I did think it was better this year if I had joined in!

I don't yet take part in the challenges as I don't have enough time and it would just be frustrating.

I like the changes to the monthly reads and try and join in as many as I can, but it seems less pressured now.

The group is excellently run. A huge thank you for your efforts.

I really enjoyed the challenge and read some interesting books that I would probably have overlooked. I would definitely like to see a challenge next year.

I'm undecided about the changes to the monthly read. On the one hand, I agree there is less pressure to read them, but on the other, there seems to be less discussion in the threads now and fewer people reading the choices. Maybe we're all just so busy :)

I enjoy this group and I would like it to continue.

Send another. I can’t ride a horse so posse can be a difficult thing. I’m sure I can stand in a village street looking tough though. As long as the dog could come with me.

This posse only rides rocking horses so you should be ok.

Ok. That’s fine. Look forward to the stake out at the ranch. Do we dress in white as goodies or black as baddies?
