It is a tale of tales and has many different storytellers adding different parts to the story and when one storyteller tells all that they know, then a different storyteller picks up where they left off with new information. I enjoyed the idea of hearing from different characters and how their lives played into the story because it adds excitement to the story keeps you curious about what the next person is going to say and add to the story. The Inquisitors Tale reminded me so much of Canterbury Tales because of the way is is written and hearing different stories from different people.
There is a religious aspect to the book and is incorporated throughout the entire novel. It was incorporated very well and didn't push the religious concept too hard. I really enjoyed this novel and each character is so individual and creative. I also liked the light comedic aspect to it because it makes the story grab your attention even more. I would have loved to read this in high school and I would use this book in a classroom.
