What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

One of those fated mate series, the first book starts with a alien prince. Women are basically either made available as treaty or must register. I can't remember how she gets the heads up it's she's been selected but she takes off. The heroine hides out somewhere with the help of her parents, and stays with a friend's son, where she is found by the prince returns with him to his home world.

I've read a good few of these type so I'm going into as few details as possible to not throw off anyone, because there are a lot of similar books.
