Just finished Small Great Things that has me thinking about racism and white privilege in America. Checking off my first category while I ponder this book.
I read Better Than Before: Mastering the Habits of our Everyday Lives by Gretchen Rubin for the prompt of “Leaves you Thinking”. I thought that it would leave me considering my own habits, how to improve them etc. and that I would consider the self-help aspects of the books for a while. There are some components that left me thinking but overall it hasn’t stayed with me as long as I expected (and it’s only been a week!).
The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern finished on January 2nd. It left me thinking, 'what did I just read?' and not in a good way. LOVED The Night Circus, and had been waiting for her to write a new book for years. The characters were great, the writing was beautiful, but it really left me disappointed.
I just finished 101 Ways to Go Zero Waste by Kathryn Kellogg. It gave me great ideas and now I’m looking for more ways I can cut things out. So... it made me think!
